A Princess' Worth Part 2, Page 23

This is making me more sore at how, come the show's end, Twilight is SOLE leader of Equestria.  Sure Spike is alongside her, and will match her lifespan.  But he still feels like he's in the little brother role, and doesn't have a role in ruling Equestria.  He assists Twilight in that job, and gets dispatched to other nations.  But he doesn't have the gravitas of Princess.  So I can't see Twilight holding this kind of conversation with him.  And if she were to confide in him, he wouldn't be able to put himself totally in her shoes, like a true co-ruler could.
