Please read through this before asking me about commissions!
When you send a Note to ask me, I am going to assume you've reviewed this information already. Hopefully any questions you have can be answered here.
I will have commissions open mostly for Fantasy-themed digital illustrations and subjects
. Dragons, unicorns, manticores, minotaurs, phoenixes, werewolves, merfolk, etc. You name it. I will also draw humanoid subjects or human Mages. If there isn't a species I've heard of, I'll gladly look up references.
Though I am also open to drawing Fanart and OC's
Simple lineart (with or without background): $10
Basic color: $15
Basic color with background: $15
with an additional $3 to $5,
depending on complexity of background
More than one subject: $5
for each additional subject
For scales, I typically use pattern brushes that I got from this user:
If you want a pattern brush
for scales, they are no additional cost.
If you want scales drawn by hand, it will be an extra $2 to $5
, depending on if you also want the scales fully shaded/detailed.
I can be flexible, but don't try to haggle. Depending on the simplicity or complexity of the picture and subjects, I am willing to adjust prices. For example, a picture of two small birds isn't going to cost the same as a picture with two dragons, regardless of whether they're colored or not.
I do not accept point commissions.
All payments must be made in USD
(US Dollars). I use PayPal, and I'll ask you to provide your email address via Note. All payments are to be made up front.
I will not be taking partial payments, or payments in installments.
After you have the illustration and have made your payment, and there are still details you would like changed, let me know. Three small changes or touch-ups
(ex: changing colors, adding/removing horns, etc. ) will be free of charge. After that it's an additional $2 for each change. If you want another subject added, it will be another $5 or $10 (again depending on whether it's colored or not.)
Will Not Draw
Realism: I would prefer to draw in a more cartoony style without excessive attention to making a scene or subject look super realistic - this especially goes for humans, which I tend to draw in a more anime-inspired style. I'll still do my best to create an accurate representation of the subject, and will look up references of people/animals for anatomy and detail.
Gore/Horror: I don't mind drawing creepy creatures, or fighting/ action scenes with some blood, but I will avoid drawing excessive gore or scenes of torture or emotional terror. Consider drawings like this my limit:
Sexual themes: I'm not going to draw anything NSFW and I want to stray away from provocative scenes as well. If the character is human / humanoid / half-human etc. and you want them looking slightly suggestive/flirtatious, that is fine. Though if the character is an Anthro/furry, I will absolutely not allow any nudity or suggestive themes. Even if it's PG, I'm not drawing anything fetish related. Cutesy romance or displays of affection between two creatures or two humanoids are acceptable.
Large group scenes: I would prefer to keep the number of subjects down to three at maximum (except for, say, birds flying in the distance or fish swimming in water.)
Send me a note if you're interested in a commission. Let me know what kind of subject you want, whether it will be lineart, base color, shaded or have a background, what kind of scene/pose, etc. I'll ask if there's any other details just to make sure I'm clear about everything.
Please be specific! Send me a specific color palette if you want, provide any reference pictures you can, describe how you want their pose to be, how their expression should look, what the lighting should be like.
Once I have these details, I'll whip up a basic sketch for you just to make sure I have the pose and composition right, then I'll get to work!
