Dark Funeral Live was lit (also literally since they used lots of pyrotechnics on stage). I have wanted to watch Dark Funeral live for over 10 years now. And this year I finally had the chance! But sadly some idiots in the crowd right next to me had to piss me off!

I've seen lots of bad behaviours in a concert crowd before but this made me just rage. Two very bratty females kept on screaming during all the songs like it was some sort of pop concert (they even danced!) I shouted to them to shut up since I didn't pay for hearing their screams in my ears. But instead they laughed and started to make some sexy dance and constantly rub themselves towards me! Their disrespectful behaviour made me so mad. I physically and quite brutally pushed them away over and over but they didn't stop. The only thing that made them stop in the end was when a moshpit broke lose. Fucking idiots! I hope they were crushed in all the chaos.

:bulletred:NOTE: I don't mind if somebody occasionally shout or sing one major line here and there and have a good time during a show, but idiots who never shut up deserve to be punched (or worse Murderer ). Therefore I love small underground gigs since the crowd usually pay way more respect for the bands.
Hail Dark Funeral! Ravenlord Horns Up

//Satanen

A very short and shaky clip from the show were the screaming idiots are not much heard.

I have never heard of this band before! They sound very interesting though!
// I'm sorry to hear about those idiots! Lol, you sacrificed them to the mosh pt where they were devoured.//
Other than that, I'm glad you finally got to see them live after so long!

I'm surprised you never have. But better late than never :D
And yes thanks! I'm sure I can look back at it someday and have a good laugh at it.

You learn something new everyday! And  of course!
I had a kinda similar experience at a Ghost B.C concert this past Friday. They held it in a theater and o course you had the (as I like to call them, metal whores) who didn't even know the band, but they wore the merch/had their tits out. The crowd was dead honestly.

Anyway though! I wish you luck on your next concert experience.

Ah, you were to Dark Funeral too :3 One of my best friends was there and I was considering it too, but it's a little far away and I just came back from my long trip XD But anyway, I'm glad you got to see them (I am yet to), and even if those morons were annoying you, hope you had a good time. Also, I agree about small concerts, those are really the best, but it's not quite applicable for more popular bands, sadly.

P.S. Indeed, the pop fangirl type seem to grow in numbers in metal concerts, but it's kinda shocking to hear they are to be found even on bands like Dark Funeral. Where is this civilization going dammit.... The Devil

Yeah, finally the performed live in Gothenburg.
After 10+ years of waiting haha.
Their show (minus the idiots) was great! The only critic I can give would be that I wish they still had their old singer "Emperor Magus Caligula" in the band. Though, their new singer is great. (But I've already seen him live in another band so it felt a bit confusing for me to see him perform in Dark Funeral).

Oh, Your friend was in Sweden and saw them too?

Yeah, that's the problem when a band goes from being underground to more famous.
The fans will start to become a pain in the ass :/
There is another big show happening soon with Enslaved and Gaahls wyrd but after this bad experience I better skip it since now I know what kind of things to expect.

Ah, I know the feeling. When you finally get to see a band you've been waiting for for so long. I'm happy for ya :3

Yeah, he came from Norway for the concert and went with a couple of friends who live somewhere in the area, I think. He's quite into Dark Funeral too, think it won't be an exaggeration to say they're one of his favourite bands. He'll tell me more details on Thursday when we webcam, I'm sure :D

That's true but.... music is still music - the much more important part is that they stay true to their style and don't *commercialize* it.
I understand you, but I don't think you should stop going to concert because of a pair of mindless geese at this one. Besides, on concerts like these, such elements are still rather rare; you were unlucky to be next to those two this time, but I'm sure that won't happen often at all.

Ah, that makes sense since gothenburg is close to the norwegian border :)
Well, I already decided not to go and watch Enslaved or Gaahls wyrd.
1 It was pretty expensive, 2 They are both famous bands & probably have a horrible fanbase,
3 It's sold out by now, and nr 4, I only wanted to see Gaahl really :XD:
So it wasn't really worth it this time.
But there will be other smaller gigs coming up that I rather go to instead.
(Gotta support the KVLT underground you know :abbath:).

Hahahah, to Oslo yes, but not to where my friend lives: mancamondo.altervista.org/grap… Otherwise trust me, I would have pestered you to meet up in person a month ago when I was visiting him up in the far North :D Nah, he flew to Copenhagen and took the train from there.

Ah, makes sense then. I meant not giving up concerts like that in general anyway ;)

Oh and I agree  :abbath: by Avondschemer

Oh, he lives super far up! (It would for sure take at least 2 days to drive all the way up there).
Good thing there were flights!
If you ever pass by Gotheburg let me know :D

Yeah! But it's very beautiful up there, and there are many untouched and wild places, which I enjoy.

Oh you can count on it ;)

Why don't sacrifice them to Satan?
Anyway, you're lucky that you have seen Dark Funeral performance. They're awesome. I love Nils Fjelstörm's drumming.

I was near to do some very bad shit.
But I figured it wouldn't be worth it in the long run because I don't want to end up in jail haha =p

I agree on this, more and more go to "serious" concerts and are acting like idiots. The smaller hidden bands usually manage to create a more comfortable atmosphere as well as pulling a more respectable crowd.
