I HATE dogs stamp by satanen I HATE dogs stamp by satanen
Just another unpopular opinion of mine. "What a shocker"Kwerti
Sorry, I see nothing nice about these loud, man-made, poop eating, slobbering,
germ ridden, vile smelling, retarded, vomit eating, scavenger freaks.
The ONLY thing these pests are good for is to keep muslims at bay.
Other than that I really hate dogs. They don't belong in nature, they don't belong indoors, they don't belong in society.

A single gram of dog waste can contain 23 million fecal coliform bacteria, which are known to cause cramps, diarrhea, intestinal illness, and serious kidney disorders in humans. EPA even estimates that two or three days’ worth of droppings from a population of about 100 dogs would contribute enough bacteria to temporarily close a bay, and all watershed areas within 20 miles of it, to swimming and shell fishing.

Dog feces are one of the most common carriers of the following diseases:

Whipworms
Hookworms
Roundworms
Tapeworms
Parvo
Corona
Giardiasis
Salmonellosis
Cryptosporidiosis
Campylobacteriosis

And as if that wouldn't be enough. They also eat and roll themselves in their own and other dogs shit
and then enter your home, lay in your bed and lick your face etc.

What animal DOESN'T have crap swarming with either parasites or bacteria? Many beloved pets eat turd :S

What is more annoying though, a dog doing a poop, or the owner who fails to scoop and bag the dog's crap as required by law?

Message to dog owners, SCOOP TEH POOP!

Not sure what other animals that do eat feces. All I can think of is cats licking their anus.

But yeah, at least in snowy winters you can see how much dog piss & shit there is everywhere. Otherwise you'll only notice when you step in it.

Well according to Petwave:
"
This condition is far more common in dogs, however it does appear occasionally in cats. There are times when eating feces is part of normal feline behavior."

And from my own knowledge I know rabbits will eat their own feces if it's not fully digested, and when I was a kid our hamster "smokey" once ate it's own poop.

When I was young, I used to be christian, when I went to church I had to dodge a MINE FIELD of dog crap left lying in the street by Dbag owners.
There was a street I used to call "Dog Sh*t ally"

They say you can tell a person by whether they like animals or not, I think you can tell a person on whether they scoop the poop or not XD

All animals have their pros and cons. I see you've had cats. Cats frequently spray and urinate indoors to mark territory and frequently throw up undigested hair they've groomed off themselves neither of these things are pleasant, birds are loud and can be territorial indoors, speaking from experience since i had parakeets growing up and they didn't like people in certain areas of our apartment.

The only arguably "non gross" pets would be fish since our physical handling of them is close to none at all and they spend their lives in their own enclosures- yet even those we must clean and come into contact with their waste, i mean unless you wear gloves and everything. But its still a fact you deal with cleaning up after them.

I do agree some things go too far, like letting any animal lick inside your mouth or crap like that. But im proud to have had dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, birds because they were all great companions over the years that despite needing to be cleaned up after showed mutual affection and provided an outlet for stress otherwise brought on by humans- perhaps the most irritating incompassionate and ill tempered animals of all.

Yes, all animals are filthy in various levels. Don't worry. I'm not a fan of cats either. It was my family who one day decided they wanted outdoor cats to lower the amount of mice and rats on their property. Birds can be loud and messy but neither their bodies or their shit smell bad & they never hysterically bark, whine or howl all night long. Sure they can have anger issues but to be bitten by a little bird is nothing compared to a dog attacking you. (Yes, random dogs have attacked me for no reason whatsoever 4 times already). There is no way I can see anything cute or good about them at this point.

Birds can actually smell quite terrible if you don't clean up after them.  Not to mention, their feces is a breeding ground for disease carrying bacteria.  Also, there's always a reason.  Usually a result of human error...either someone not training their dog properly, or the dog runs away and becomes feral.

Mayhaps you should do some actual research on these animals before blindly hating them because of a few bad experiences.

Actually dogs smell terrible no matter how often you clean them. You simply can't wash that out of them.

A single gram of dog waste can contain 23 million fecal coliform bacteria, which are known to cause cramps, diarrhea, intestinal illness, and serious kidney disorders in humans. Depends on your definition of bad smell honestly.  Our dogs don't smell particularly bad...and if you put forth the effort to clean up after them, everything you just listed off is easily avoidable.  It's called keeping them up to date on their vaccinations and keeping healthy animals away from sick ones.  It's really not that hard.

Literally every complaint you have...is something that can be avoided if the proper measures are taken.  Spay and neuter your animal to prevent unwanted breeding - reduce the number of strays (if you look around, you may even find places that do it for free and, really it's not that expensive)  Keep them up to date with their shots to help prevent spread of disease.  Train them to behave.

A dogs anal glands that they rub onto your carped & around your house don't smell like flowers.
Honestly, every person I ever knew that had at least 1 dog had very smelly dirty houses. So dirty & smelly in fact that it left me physically I'll from staying there for more than a couple of hours, even if the dog wasn't around. It's enough for my dog owning neighbours to open up their front door for the entire staircase to reek of dog odor. The day I enter a home with a dog owner that is clean & dosen't smell of dog I'll be amazed.

And sure, you can go to the vet with your dog and vaccinate as much as you want but it will never stop your dog from eating it's own and other animals vomit & poop. Dogs are scavengers and you can never ever force that filthy nature out of them. But yeah, Just keep giving them more food as they growl and bark at you, piss and shit everywhere & tell them you love them so they don't have to start eating your face. And yes you have to constantly mainpulate "train" them because dogs are not naturally gentle animals.

I will NEVER like them.

You clearly don't know many people who own dogs then- and considering the fact you're basing everything on personal experience makes you biased.  Every dog owner I've known has had a very clean house...clean yard, hardly any smells.

Mayhaps you shouldn't have animals at all... and don't ever have kids either.  Cause kids can be way more destructive than any dog...and are more likely to deliberately disobey you.  In fact, just don't ever leave your house.  Build yourself a bubble and just live in it forever...if you can't handle even mild odor.  I'm sure you don't smell like roses yourself...no matter how much you wash yourself.

I'm talking from a full life experience. I even had relatives who had dogs.
I am no stranger to strong foul odors. But I would never ever want to live 24/7 with such smells up my nose. (So I simply chose not to). But there is no way it's possible for me to be completely free from it.

And yes, my hatred is personal. And you can also only make personal statements from your own experience.
I can live with you loving dogs like everyone does, but can you live with me hating them to bits like no one else?

Phew!Phew! And I was worried you'd resent someone like me, who's all polar opposite (me having a HUGE soft spot of adoring dogs). But I can understand you being off put by their grosser behaviors. Heck, the tone you express in disliking dogs, kinda sums up how I feel towards real-life human babies ands toddlers. *braces self for indignant replies from polar-opposite baby fanatics*

What sane person would otherwise allow themselves to be that intimate with an animal?
