I use a Wacom Intuos medium touch and pen. Personally I actually like using the cheaper tablets. I've used other more expensive tablets in the past, but I don't really feel like theres much of a difference between them apart from the fact that some have screens on them, which makes it a bit easier to draw (because you can see directly where you are drawing. It's closer to traditional drawing.)
I ended up going with a Surface Pro 4, because I have a huge desk top computer and I like to draw on my couch so something portable was what I needed. I love it so far, and being able to see my drawing where it's happening is amazing.
That's great to hear! I didn't think of the surface pro when I was looking for a tablet. Since it sounds like a really good drawing tool, I might consider getting one when my tablet completely stops working because it's starting to malfunction ;-; . I also always draw while laying in bed (with my massive laptop) so the surface might be the best option!
