I realised I never wrote a journal about what's my relationship with dA as of now. Well, it isn't good. I'm against AI "art" and having this platform delve into that shit deep enough to create its own AI art engine is... ugh. Just ugh. Not nice. Not good. Seemingly legal theft is still theft. And destroying the environment just to be lazy isn't my cup of tea either. Art can be learned. It should be learned. Believe you me, it's way more fulfilling that way. Generative AI destroys creativity. Generative AI is so cheap it hurts. BUT that's not the thing I came to write, I just needed to vent a little--! The thing is, I'm not abandoning dA as of a whole, unlike I planned to do. But my uploads will be sparse and probably far apart. Mostly fanarts, maybe. My linktree is the place to go if you want to see more diverse take of my art with maybe more frequent pace. No promises though, I've been really uninspired with sharing anything after genAI became the plague it is these days. I will
