I'm entering this into *naked-in-the-rain's competition entitled "Your Most Prized Possession"
(Official journal to the competition can be found here - [link])
The theme requires you to photograph something that has value to you - not necessarily cash value (had it been that, would have had to submit a picture of my camera
).
This is the necklace I wear almost every single day, and have been doing so for over a year now It reminds me of my boyfriend ~Rixo013, who in turn wears a key along with his dog tags to the padlock He has the key to my heart 
The silver chain it's on was gifted to me by him too for my 19th birthday

Post-processing in Adobe Photoshop CS5
