Thoughts and Description
Ah, how I missed creating conceptual still lifes. It used to be my favorite category, but I realised how few I took and ultimately edited this year. I'm always experimenting - which, don't get me wrong, I also really enjoy. My biggest photography journey this year was definitely Scotland, which allowed me to explore other areas of photography I usually don't tackle such as landscapes and birds instead.

While at the gym, I was daydreaming as usual, in my wonderful disconnected-from-reality state of mind. My thoughts wandered on to delicate light and delicate feathers. I thought about what a relief it is to be able to cut off from reality. That's when this image popped into my head. I know it's something I want to create when I get excited about the idea, so I rushed home mentally preparing how I was going to achieve it, ran around the house gathering everything as soon as I got home, and made use of the last of the late afternoon's light (and what was left of my energy) to put it together.

The lens flare is actually real! Gorgeous light decided to make an appearance from between the clouds just at the right moment.
The feathers are a huge collection I have from my pet budgies, which I've been hoarding for quite some time.

I love this! I actually just ordered my first Danbo figure and can't wait to get it haha! This is one of the best danbo-picture I've come across tbh, love the feathers! <3
