Peace in the Woods by SaraCuervo captured the innocent and warm-hearted mood of Vivi, an iconic black mage in the Final Fantasy series. The connection between mage and chocobo as well as the embrace of nature surrounding them both can certainly bring one's heart home.

Peace in the Woods

Wow, a Daily Deviation... I am glad and extremely grateful for all the good response that this illustration has been given by the community. Your encouragement and good vibes makes my work so much easier.  Also, my heartfelt thanks to TheCreativeJenn for the feature, and for the kind words too! I'll keep working hard

Chocobo chocobo :la: Made this one for convention prints a while ago. Still pretty proud of it. And it came out very quickly as well! Such an enjoyable ride, to paint one of my favourite characters ever in an inspiration strike.

Hope you like, thanks for watching~

Before I begin, I want to stress that I'm not an artist of any real sort, so take what I say with a grain of salt... I love this!

This black mage (I say that because I'm not sure if it's Vivi or not) is utterly adorable! I can see every effort has been taken to make it look as life like as possible, with the stitches, the belt buckle, the straps on it's coat; just so much about this wows me!

The little chick sitting on it's foot also wows me as well. It's just so cute!

And then theres the little details like the petals, the grass, the shading allowing us to see the forest from the trees only enhance the whole piece!
