Originality
Technique ImpactWhat caught my attention first about this piece is the level of detail on the snow. Mastering realistic snow can be difficult for many artists, but it is handled beautifully here. The simple blur of the falling snow also makes for a great effect as well as the aurora in the sky adding to the characters' surroundings. The level of shading is very well done, even the differences in textures can be seen. The only advise I would have to give is to watch your proportion. To me it seems the arms may be a bit too long for the body, but otherwise very interesting characters on a beautiful landscape. Keep up the good work!
