This is such a beautiful painting! I simply adore the pose you chose for Nordican and the wings are phenomenal, especially the left one. You also did a great job with the fur(it's so fluffy :3) and scales, they work very well together with the rest. It's also very nice that you only outlined the dragon but not the background. This way even though the background is detailed and full of textures, the dragon is clearly visable. I see that you only used bright and not too intensive colours, maybe you could have put some more intensive colour on your dragon. This way the effect of him being in the foreground would be even more, though I don't know what your intention was so that's just a tipp (: I also like the composition, you gave him much room in his front and placing him so far on the right gives the painting a wonderful dynamic atmosphere. I almost get the feeling as if he's about to fly to the left at any second now.

All in all this is a great painting that really gives me the wish to fly with him. He looks so happy and free. Good work! (:
you're most welcome! (:
I love critiques, because you can learn so much from them and it's interesting to see your own drawing from another perspective. I'm glad to hear that you appreciate it :D

I really like this drawing, especially the falcon in the front. The details are simply magnificent and it looks very realistic. The falcon's eye is very eye-catching because you put so much effort and detail in it, which draws the attention of the viewer almost immediately to the falcon. All the feathers are very well drawn though I was a bit confused at first where the falcon begins and where the background ends. Both the falcon and the background are very detailed, which is no problem at all, but I think maybe you should have made the bird a bit darker or the background lighter. Simply that the bird gets a bit seperated from the background (they have almost the same shade of grey) and the falcon would be better visable at first sight.

It's a lovely drawing and I also like the little "story" behind it. I could look at it for ages, keep up the great work! (:
