To start this new chapter on the book of life that has been written on the small planet of ANU, I present you a new phylum: the Plurocorata.
The Plurocorata represent a large array of diversification across both of the polar forests of the planet, something that can be an indication of how old the phylum is and how it has scattered across the land. They’re not as common on the equator of ANU as Pilocorporea, mainly for not standing very good against the solar radiation.
Their main characteristics are: majority of the phylum has sexual dimorphism in divided in two sexes where its reproduction is mainly through budding; their bodies are segmented on “cores” that act individually and, under right conditions, are used as pods to sprung newborns. They live in large groups and are divided in two sexes, that are:
Matrix: usually the larger and stronger of the two, the matrix is mainly responsible for securing territory, harness water and give birth to the offspring. Usually there is only a single matrix for a group, and it is "served" by the opposite sex, the Drone.
Drone: Drones are responsible for hunting, gathering and the transportation of resources from around the territory to the Matrix. The drone that is the most successful at its tasks is rewarded with reproductive privileges with the Matrix. While they are smaller and the name 'drone' carries a autonomous and mindless connotation, that couldn't be farther from the truth: Drones usually have a more developed “brain” focused on problem solving and communication. These skills are necessary for the exploratory nature of its biological function.
Offasaltus angelesii are tripodal creatures from the Quadrucorata subphylum, on a family called Exogenua. They live pretty much as antelopes on the breezy fields of the Walace’s Forests.

The Phylum Pilocorporea (former Capillosoma) is characterized primarily by the way its organic tissues are organized: cell-like filaments that resemble hair and can assume the most different forms and properties.
A way of putting in perspective, for example, is to imagine that most of the organs, like bones, skin, viscera, nervous system, etc., are composed by different arrangements of the same kind of tissue, like muscular fiber. A super adaptable muscular fiber.
While these “hair-like” tissues are responsible for allowing a high range of anatomical diversification within the phylum, they are extremely dependent on water and humidity, thus the Pilocorporea are almost exclusive of the wet regions of the planet (Equator), and are practically absent on the Polar regions.
The Pilocorporea are also extremely well adapted to withstand high amounts of radiation due to the conditions of living on areas with the most direct solar exposure on the planet.
C. rex is the biggest flying creature in the skies of ANU. Also, one of the most dangerous predators. Eating anything its mouth can chew. C. rex lives in pairs on the saprophytic savannas of the Abzu Belt, where they spend most of the time laying on the ground, resting. While they can eat anything in their way, when the hunting begins, their primary prey are the Brachiocornibus immanis: after finding a group of them and selecting a prey (usually de old and sick), they do a flyby that can last for hours, piercing the target with their 'tongues' until they kill it. After the hunt, they usually stay in the spot consuming the prey until is over, waiting for a few days before starting another hunting cycle.
Like Terrestrial tropical birds, the Blandoptera had adopt the most various forms and colors: due to the high amounts of radiation on the regions of Eden Valley and the Abzu Belt, they evolved to have highly protective and reflective “scales” that also display a rainbow range of colors and patterns.
Lucesia infernalis AN.
L. infernalis is a small herbivorous creature that can be found alone on high-altitude red “flowers” in the Eden Valley. They feed by piercing said flowers with its jaw/tongue to suck the internal fluids. While they are not very fast flyers, they are agile in the air and can hide quickly among vegetation if any danger appears;
Pseudosculum alba AN.
P. alba can be found across the Abzu Belt, on the lower vegetation. Living in the shade, they are almost entire absent of scales and remain immobile most of the day, going out only at sunrise to get food. They eat buoyant plants that only appear for a short period in the morning on the provisory lakes formed by the nocturnal rains of ANU;
Foliopalum colorius AN.
F. colorius just eat leaves and glide between trees most of the time on groups of dozens. Flying greenish cows;
Vortebrafistula longus AN.
V. longus is an herbivore that lives in small colonies on the Eden Valley. Their shape and color is akin to bamboo-like plants that grows around lakes and rivers, where they blend themselves with the environment and become almost invisible. Every Blandoptera has an internal flexible air tube through the entirety of its body that are used to help maneuver fast between different altitudes, as well to function as sustenance to a series of “muscles” in the body. V. longus is different: Its tube is segmented and some "high-tension" strings hold its parts. That allows a fast muscular response, used to scape any danger by “launching” itself from a rest position to any direction available.
A giant Blandoptera can be found amidst the dense clouds of the Eden Valley and Abzu Belt, roaming calmly through the skies while feeding on spore-like vegetation that floats in the air currents: the Abzulong vitrium AN., the glass dragon of Abzu.
Living alone, these peaceful herbivores are known for the bright shine of it’s reflective “scales”, often used to temporarily blind predators, allowing a fast scape.
Though its size, A. vitrium it’s not the biggest thing flying on Anu. That place is reserved for a far more dangerous and terrifying king.
