I deleted my gallery after the announcement of DreamUp AI and the struggle that came with any opting in/out options.

Any opting out buttons won't matter. It's fort third party only and DA doesn't check anyway.

DreamUP is based on Stable Diffusion and thus is trained with LAION-5B, a dataset that already contains a lot of DAs content. DA has no intentions to address the legal, ethical and copyright shenanigans that come with using LAION-5B and thus DreamUP.  They voiced proudly that they will go through with this project despite any concerns and critique voice by their users.

I'm not anti AI per se, but I demand ethical sourcing of training data, and thus I can't support this deceiving practice of gaslighting and deceiving artists with false hope and false safety from DA. Especially after they trained their AI on the most controversial dataset out there AND after they already scrapped their own site for art before rolling this feature out.
