"I could be your girl but would you love me if I ruled the world?"
This artwork is the third illustration of the "THE SECRET NAMES SERIES". All names in this
saga are invented by me. Enjoy.
EXPLANATION OF THE VISION:
Elinthon is a place in heaven where the angels are born. In this illustration I wanted to show
the birth of a new cherub from my point of view. Newborn beauty is named Meallieathe. She
is born with a splash of goodness among the clouds. She shed her cocoon, you can see how
the skin blends in it. When she gets rid of that she will be naked. Feathers are flying around
add dynamics, expression and represent a new being.

This is incredibly done!
The way you've merged the figure's dress into the fountain was an especially nice touch.
The whole thing is put together beautifully. The colouring is very gentle and compliments both itself and the tone of the image. It gives a very lovely serene feel- very soothing to look at.
Not the most original layout- but it works wonderfully (which is probably why its used so often), particularly here, where the framing and the circles of clouds seem to pull everything in. I really like the way you used the blurred rings of feathers for this- it added your own sort of signature to a reasonably common layout.
This is truly beautiful, keep up the amazing work!
When you first see this piece, it's really stunning. I love the concept of this new angel's born: it's a beautiful vision in the clouds.
Now, let's explain why this rating:
- vision. All is great here, unless the font you used. I'm sorry, but it is too embellish (in particular for the subtitle) and the eyes are forced to look on it and not on the beautiful picture.
- originality. All perfect. Have I said I love the idea? Well, I love and admire it.
- tecnique. Just a little precisation: her wings are too rigig, like the feathers are cut on their extremities.
- impact. Another bad-point is the absence of lights. This is a "creation", so, maybe some more light should give a more completed look to the picture and more impact.
In the end, this is a great piece for me, very, very brillant. Notes I wrote are just little things you can change everytime you want, and they aren just punctiliouseness.
Everyway that's a very great job! CONGRATULATIONS!
I really like this, It's very appealing to the eye, and looks realistic. I especially love her hair, face, and wings. I also love the clouds that look like they are swirling around her.
Though to me, It looks like she is coming out of milk, but again, that could be what you were trying to make it look like. I love the feathers falling off her.
It's not very original, mainly because I often do see pictures of angels doing the same thing she is doing, and in the same place she is. But I never see Angels flying out of milk, which I guess could be more original than others.
This piece leaves me with a sense of "awe." undoubtedly one of my most favorite pieces yet <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>.
I love the way the color sets fade into each other giving a well blended color scheme.
The contrast is perfectly complimented with a good brightness that allows for easy viewing, and allows for easy depiction between colors.
The shadows and highlights are amazingly placed. Sort of gives it a soft glow effect.
I am also impressed with the blurring of the foreground feathers, gives it a nice touch to emphasize the radial distances.
My favorite part, though, is the white liquid that the angel is splashing out of. Nice personal touch as it is an entity different from the rest brought in from the outside and blended well into the mix of things.
Overall I would say this is an amazing piece of art. Great job all around and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

In my own honest opinion, being able to merge photography with fictional surroundings and effects around the body is a very impressive feat, whether it be on a picture in a gallery (Such as this example right here) or even on a movie screen within a cinema. This example is by far no exception to my liking, perhaps even one of my favourite so far.
Although perhaps not unusual, the idea of merging the ocean water and sky colour together is still nonetheless and interesting concept, especially when used as the way it has been within this image. The water actually looks life-like and truly authentic, something that goes very well when connecting the base of the fountain of rising water to the base of the sky (And the various clouds) below it. This gives it a mystical, defying aura/feeling that goes along with the rest of this deviation's elements.
When referring to elements, I am of course talking about the heavenly aura that this picture is attempting to convey (And succeeding incredibly in as well). This theme is of course obvious due to our angel protagonist in the centre of the deviation while white feathers float around her. She is also surrounded by multiple, fluffy clouds which is the next thing that I want to address.
the clouds are so lifelike. Whether this is due to photography or due to exceptionally skilled brush work on an image editor software (i.e. Adobe Photoshop) does not really matter. If it was done by hand however then the result is absolutely phenomenal (I would never be ale to draw clouds that richly detailed or well drawn in the time I've spent on this site so far).
Finally, I move onto the angel in the centre of the image. The position she's in gives both a flection of purity and lust, a mixed signal on what she's supposed to be showing us perhaps? This is an interesting and complex view, definitely one that could be open up to interpretation by those who see this image.
All in all, this is a very good image with an exceptional idea as it's basis. Keep up the excellent work Sandylynx!<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>
Very nice photowork!
The result looks very natural ! You've got a great technique, we can't see where you joined the pieces together.
The model is gorgeous. Her position and hair movements are beautiful. You added the wings perfectly. I love the painting result you've done on the final picture.
The idea of the milk (white water?) is good! Very original! A kind of fountain in the sky... nice!
Clouds are great too! Brush or photography? I still have a doubt, that's why that's artwork is a very good one. When the viewer is still questionning himself.
Lovely result and good idea! Keep on, you rocks ^^
This ethereal other-worldly existence has always captured our imagination. I appreciate the new techniques you bring, blending photography, art, paint, computer graphics, and pure joy to produce this effect. I remember a film years ago, Simone, with Al Pacino, that touched upon what you are doing. You might find it of interest.
