Located in the high deserts of California's Eastern Sierra, Sand Springs is a remote mining settlement. With its 1950s architecture, the area gives off the impression that time has stopped within the sleepy town. The pace of life is slow, and nothing exciting ever seems to happen according to the locals...or so they say.
