For various reasons i haven't watched a lot of anime lately, so i didn't catch up with favorites of the current season like Star Driver.
Oddly enough i settled with the new SRW OG (admittedly because i am familiar with the source material, but i have to say that the first batch of episodes is unexpectedly good) and Shiki which debuted during the summer season and is currently in the middle of its television run.
At first glance it looks like your average Higurashi clone, but it doesn't take long to realize that it's more similar to a Japanese take on Stephen King's Salem's Lot. The premise is essentially the same with some quirky character...
