This art is perfection! The ONLY flaw I can find with it, and this is an extreme nitpick, is the orientation of the Dinosaur's hands. They should be pointing inwards instead of downwards. But even then, the rest is so freaking awesome and surprisingly accurate to science, I can't bring myself to care all that much about this tiny error!
The fact that this is a fantasy Dinosaur as well makes it even more fantastic <3.
I aspire to be this great of an artist someday! I'm totally in love with this piece! Every detail of the leaves, nature and everything is just perfect!
actually it's the new Mtg plane : Ixalan... Basically the same as your Lizardmen Faction, unless our dinos are featherd and our lizardmen are regular men...
How cool would it be if we lived in a world where we could tame dinos like this? Not in a Jurassic Park sense, but in a companion fun kind of way. Such a fun piece.
I hope they won't be involved in any actual battle because throwing a large stone at that woman would probably be enough to kill her.
A fact to keep in mind: Yes, there are warriors who barely wore anything in combat, but there's an important caviot to that: They usually used large shields to make up for their lack of armor. A great example of that are the Zulu. Cultures who used melee cavalry tended to either deploy shielded or armored riders because otherwise a charge would be suicide. The only cavalry who, in some cases, didn't make use of armor or shields were bowmen on horseback, because they could avoid combat and being hit by enemy archers due to their speed.
So, yeah. I know it's fanatsy and all, but little things like these just take it to a higher level.
