All of you. He hates no one. If anyone uses Jesus to hate others, then "The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged."
I know some churches (not God, churches) can be hard on groups of people, but it might give them some solace to know that God will hold them accountable for everything they've done.
"God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him." If Jesus wasn't here to judge others, neither should we.
"Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” If we aren't loving others, we aren't representing Christ.
"Love other people as well as you do yourself. You can’t go wrong when you love others. When you add up everything in the law code, the sum total is love."
*Gets down from soapbox*
This piece was drawn in 'protest' of some things that are happening in my home church. We have some new leadership that is trying to conservatize our faith by targeting and excluding people. Folks that have been faithfully practicing have been bullied into leaving so we can have 'just the right people'. It makes me sick.
I plan on painting this image on the wall of my Sunday School room with some of the scriptures I've used and a rainbow sash.
