Cousin Braeaburn's First Impression

Here is my submission for Family Reunion Edition of the Equestria Daily blog's Artist Training Ground event [link]

The "Experienced Training Grounder" Theme for the event was draw a pony "meeting up with a mysterious long lost relative. Draw their first encounter!" So, here is a little comic looking back at filly Applejack's very first encounter with her cousin Braeburn back before he grew into his hat. I don't think that AJ was prepared for Braeburn's noise level when he gets enthusiastic about something, especially if that thing has the world "AAAAple" in it.
