Correct me if i'm wrong, but did you not also use Crazybump for the normal map? This is a great piece of work. However it hink think the normal map is too strong on a lot of it. Other than that great work!

Thanks, Yes i use Crazybump, i think i made the level of spec a little bit high that why the normal map is strong, did you checked the video i posted in the description?

that's very nice, I wish I could do normal maps looking this good :) however isn't a 2048 set of textures quite huge for just stairs? (or is there a LOD of lower texture resolution?)

Thanks man. Well of curse 2048 set of textures is kind of high for just stairs,

and yes there a LOD of lower texture resolution. :D

good :) it's just that I've seen some non-LOD meshs around that had just an inconsiderate tex resolution for what they were

Man, that looks good. I love the way you broke up the steps. Looks very convincing! :)

I agree with your choice for Mudbox. I think it works just that little bit easier then Zbrush. I love the interface of Mudbox.

Btw, I'm doing a project at the moment in which I'm making my own street (with the focus on my own house). I've finished modeling, UV'ing and adding (very simplistic) textures to it. But having seen this... I think I'm going to make a portfolio piece out of it.

Won't be using textures bigger then 512px though. I broke it up into tiles. Let me know if you want to have sneak peak. :) I'd love to know what you think!

I will send you an imageshack-link in a note tomorrow.
I need to fix some errors, that I didn't get to yet, first. Floating geometry and stupid stuff like that. Takes 5 minutes to fix... still hate myself for it, though. ;p

Also, could you send me a link of the wireframe of your model. I'm interested in how you broke it down into faces. :)
