This, for those who don't know, is Agahnim, a wizard/priest (depends on the country) of the "The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past" game, for the Snes, one of the best of the best in the games EVAR!!

My take of the Character tries to "respect" the palette that is shown in the game, for the original art despicts him with a rec tunic and the game with a green one... neve knew the reason and I'm still the same...

Hope you all like it, I will finish the original game redesigns I promise, actually I have done a few, but sometimes I'm just too lazy to upload anything.

Critiques (cheap ones, the ones without subscription...) are welcome as always.

Agahnim(from a link to the past, but what the hell!) : [link]

Intentaré sobreponerme a la flojera y escribiré en español:

Este es Agahnim, un sacerdote/hechicero (depende del país) del juego "The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past".

He reminds me of a Wizzrobe.

You got it quite right then, since that was my very intention, since his attacks are so similar of those of the Wizzrobes.

I absolutely love Agahnim :D Along with Zant and Ganon the two have to be some of my favorite zelda villains! I love the fluid design and how you kept his cloak green. I don't understand why it's red in the art?

Thanks! Agahnim was one of my favorite too! when I fist saw Zant on the Twilight Princess trailer I thought it was Agahnim. The red cloak, that thing have been bothering me since forever! since they keep it red in almost everything apart from in-game art

That's awesome! He's one of the LoZ villains that you don't see much art of anymore. Usually it's either Ganondorf/Ganon or Zant. It's great to see a classic tribute like this.

Agahnim will rock forever, but is true, he is kinda forgotten isn´t he? Zant was cool, I cannot denied that, and Agahnim was like the first aproach to what ganondorf would be.

Yeah. He's kinda like a Wizzrobe on steroids. That's what my impression of him was. Long-range specialist, kept his distance, easily hammered into submission in close-quarters combat... He was a magic-based master, but a close combat coward.

He had Ganondorf's long-range expertise, but they were nowhere near each other in hand-to-hand combat experience. That was what led to Agahnim's defeat.

I like how you kept his "Poe eyes" and gave him those long, spindly fingers.

Can you believe that I haven't notice that the Snes Agahnim has Poe-like eyes until you pointed it out? Thanks, glad that you like it!

I even can understand Link's pink hair...the blonde hair can be mistaken with part of the hat... but Agahnim is just plain weird

I remember the first time I played that game, I arrived with Agahnim and thought that I was gonna end the game... finally! and, oh crap! Dark World, that game was and still is epic... Why they abandoned the Dark World concept? they can't fool me with the Twilight, I want more Dark World!

LOL! Yeah, Twilight was Dark World lite. It would have been nice in Ocarina of Time, the future Hyrule under Ganon's control was more dark and twisted to resemble the Dark World. What's worst is that we haven't gotten a revised Dark World music for another Zelda too. oh well... hopefully Nintendo will take us back to the Golden Land soon.

I like this alot, though a teeny-tiny, minor quibble or two:
-wasn't the interior/lining of his cloak still red? I thought it was for some reason...
-how bout the Sheikah emblem on his chest? Could be a nice addition, provide some texture to his chest.

Great job though, I love the style!

I like to work without textures sometimes, still, maybe I will try some textures as you sugested, and now that you mention it, you are right, there is a pink/red lining in the interior cloak, also the sheikah emblem should be nice... thanks for the commnt, and the critiques are always welcome, so I thank you for that too!
