Description
Paraceratherium was among the largest land mammals along with some proboscideans. It is the tallest land mammal ever. Paraceratherium weighed as much as 11 - 12 tonnes on average, with perhaps maximum weight upto 20 tonnes.
Fossils have been found across Eurasia (China, Mongolia, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, and the Balkans.)
