I always had a great interest in animals and i'm living a meaningless horrible life. It's no secret that many people are fascinated by big animals. The most interesting thing for me is to think about how life began on Earth and the different types of living things that existed.
(Without fossils, no one would have ever dreamed that there were successive epochs in the formation of the Earth. - Georges Cuvier)
(It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change. - Charles Darwin)
(If we measured success by longevity, then dinosaurs must rank as the number one success story in the history of land life. - Robert T. Bakker)
(An understanding of the natural world and what's in it is a source of not only a great curiosity but great fulfillment. - David Attenborough)
(Instead of controlling the environment for the benefit of the population, perhaps it's time we control the population to allow the survival of the environment. - David Attenborough)
(If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. - James Herriot)

Certainly would have been to nice to see this giant tortoise living today..
There are new remains of Titanoboa, that's awesome. Before few months i noted that the size of Gigantophis is downsized to 6.9 m. I wonder how it is correct, as Jason Head estimated it to be 9 - 10.7 m. It's vertebrae is big though. In the Titanoboa documentary, John shows one of the large Titanoboa vertebrae to Head and Head replies that it is about the size of Gigantophis. Then John shows the largest Titanoboa vertebrae and Head replies that it is the largest snake that ever existed. In that case, will the size of Titanoboa will be reduced by someone in the future too ? That should not happen.
