This hunger, she yearns...

"And this one, oh, she's a fun case," explained the doctor. A small group of five people trailed behind him as they walked through the halls of pure white. The blinding lights above seemed to amplify the whiteness, if that at all seemed possible. The few broken spots were the ridges and handles of the doors that appeared throughout the halls. Each person, including the doctor, held a wooden board which clamped down papers of each patient that laid behind each door.

"Now, look here," the doctor pointed at a particular door numbered 307. Each of his followers took out their pencils to prepare for notes. "She is quite the girl," he continued, smile stretched upon his face, not forced, but pulled back with glee. He turned toward the door and knocked on the small clear window that sat just above the number 307. "You see?" The others quickly huddled by the window, eager to see what mysterious girl was behind it.

There she laid on her bed, almost dead looking. Her blond hair was tangled and dry and her skin was pale. She wore the standard patients' dress which was heavily wrinkled. Her face was covered as she her head was sunken into the flattened pillow. Her breathing was shallow, almost mute. The doctor squeezed through and knocked again. No response, no movement, no reaction.

"A bit tired today, are we?" he asked her then chuckled. The girl seemed to lift her head slightly, her mouth gaped open, lips cracking.

"Speak again, darling, I could not hear you."

"Hun-" she managed to say loud enough but her throat tightened and shut and the word could not come out. The doctor laughed.

"Hungry, yes, I know, soon," the doctor replied. He turned to the others who stepped back, grin still etched on his face. "For this case, we were interested in seeing a reaction from lack of food. It's been quite a few days with this one, the others went quite insane fairly quickly but she seems just dandy." The scratches of graphite against paper filled the quiet hall.

"Ple-" she attempted again, barely audible over the note taking, however the doctor heard it.

"Soon," was all he said. "Now, if you'd like to see another interesting one," he continued on then began to walk away.

A straggler stayed but for a moment and saw her face. Her gaze lazily met his and he saw how feeble she appeared. Her eyes were so dark, her mouth hung open, unable to close. Her body shook as she made an effort to keep her head slightly raised. His heart thumped loudly in his chest as he saw her suffering. He took a step back, unable to keep watching.

She then collapsed back into the pillow, a small gasp attempted but failed to escape her mouth. She was weak and dry and her stomach clawed at her insides. She felt the pain but she could do nothing about it, so she laid still, hardly breathing.

He turned to the group who had just disappeared beyond the corner and debated whether or not to go with them. He looked back at the girl and watched her for a few more moments before deciding his answer. He reached towards the locks that kept them apart and released them. The sound vibrated off the walls and in all directions, he would be noticed, he would have to work fast. He opened the door and went inside. The girl shifted her head and saw him standing there by the door. Her breathing quickened and her heart began to race.

"Hung-" she almost cried out to him.

"I know," he replied sympathetically. He rushed towards her to help her sit up. Her body began to shake more violently than before. "I'm going to get you food, you're going to be okay," he said as he tried to get her to stand.

"I'm hungry," she spoke more forcefully and with strength. The boy looked at her face as her eyes seemed red. She grasped at his head and neck, blood pulsing through her veins. Before he could scream, her canines sank into his neck and she sucked in hard. Blood splashed about in her mouth and down her throat and oh, it was exhilarating. The boy could not speak or move, he was trapped. Her teeth seemed to sink deeper and any pain he may have felt was gone and his body felt numb. She drank and she drank until he was empty. She let his body drop to the ground with a thump and she wiped away the trail of red that ran down her mouth and chin to her white dress, now stained.

"Thank you," she smiled, "for the food."

This hunger, she is quenched...

Eclipse, a Laughing Jack x Reader Story!
Hello! Halloween Project: AloneAlone, she could hear them.

It was dark, it was quiet, but only for a moment. She breathed in hard and sat up, awake. She had fallen asleep, which was bad. She looked around, on edge, hands shaking. She knew they were there, they were always there. Again she breathed in deeply, scared.

What had kept her calm was a few things, but the most important was the thought of him. How she was sure he was out there, waiting for her. What she thought of first was his lips. She remembered them, so warm and tender against hers. The way his hand brushed gently through her hair, she imitated it, eyes closed, imagining. The next thing was his voice, as he
Halloween Project: My CallingThump thump, my heart, thump thump...

I could feel it, pounding, pulsing. Thump thump. Thump thump. It was cold, I was running. I was lost, scared, but I kept running. No direction in mind, just away, as far as I could get.

Thump thump.

I couldn't escape, there was no escape. The wind blew hard against me as I ran. It was snowing. Branches scratched up against my skin, I felt hot.

Thump thump.

In my ears, it was so loud. My heart, it wouldn't stop. I was exhausted, but I kept going. It would catch me if I stopped. It would tear me apart and never let me go.

Thump thump.

The sun was setting, it was getting dark. The trees seemed to get
Halloween Project: HauntingA whisper...

The wind. The air. The chill. Do you feel it?

I am there. I am it. Always with you.

Haunting.

Following. Dancing around. As you go on, ignoring me. Distracted by the doings of life.

I alone am there with you as you live on. I alone love you like no other. I miss you. I want you.

I scream.

You don't hear me. You don't listen. I shout, I cry. Unheard by your ears.

I am there in front of you. Beside you. All around you.

You can't see me. You don't notice me. Yet I am there. Always there.

Alone. No tears fall from my eyes but I mourn.

You will never see me. You will never hear me. You will never notice me. But I will never

Halloween Project: Foolish MortalsI'm scared, I don't want to die...

The woman screamed as she was being burned alive and the man just smiled. He slowly backed out through the crowd to escape the scene before the townspeople were able to become eager for two deaths that night.

...

"Burn her!" one man screamed, voice hoarse, from the back. Others cheered. "Kill that witch!" a woman screamed elsewhere.

The night sky lit up as torches flew upon the pile of wood. It burst into flames.

...

I was tied to a wooden pole, beneath my feet were piles of timber. I couldn't move no matter how much I struggled, then I saw him. Standing amongst the crowd, the man who did this. I shout
Halloween Project: The CoachmanHe rose.

She yawned, tired. She had been walking for some time and in her tight corset and heavy puffed dress, she was exhausted. The stinging sensation on the sides of her feet broke her out of her anger spell as she stumbled in pain. She had just had another feud with her fiance and, though not the brightest idea she has had, she stormed off into the night alone.

It was a quiet night, a cold one too. It was near mid-winter and she could feel her toes going numb. She sighed as she looked around, a bit lost as to where she was. A sudden huff of breath around the corner caused her to jump. She slowly made her way to its source to discover a
Halloween Project: TimeIt was only a matter of time.

He was breathing heavy. His vision was blurry as he attempted to continue stumbling his way through the woods. He was injured badly and felt stabbing pain with each step. Carefully he tread through the forest, weary of the looming clouds.

The atmosphere was wet and cold. He would not be able to get very far without collapsing. He at least had an idea of where he was. He had made the mistake earlier of attempting to climb down a hill and trusting a rock that jutted out. Little did he know at the time that that rock was moist and loose which caused his fall and injuries.

Completely exhausted, he had no choice bu

Really nicely done. It's very well written and I like it quite a lot. I didn't expect her to be a vampire, so that was cool. And it's a kind of hospital/asylum? Or is it like a government experiment type thing?
Anyways, nice job.

Thank you very much :D Probably more like a government experiment type thing :XD:

Waa, creepy :fear: but also well-written. I don't really know what I find most scary, the vampire itself, or the doctor. None of them beats the fact that the door's open and an angry vampire is a hungry vampire (I guess, don't know a lot about them) even though I kind of hope she'll eat the doctor too, now she's at it. You're a very talented writer, I look forward to read the next one ^^

Thanks xD Haha, yes that's true, she'll probably want revenge too ;P
Thank you x3 They won't all be scary, they all have sort of their own feel to them.

But ... then I have to translate it ... and that's haaaard. Because I collect advanced words together with my friend. And I'm not that hard at english grammar. But I really should. It would be good practice, too, my teachers would love me for it.
Now I want to write something.

(late lol)
But then you get great practice with English and translating :D If I could speak/write two languages, I'd do shit in both all the time :XD:
