Wow, I found 60" fabric and I will do it all in one panel. Would it be easier to start at the top or bottom? I am in the process of putting together the kit for it. I hope when I start it turns out close to yours, I am using 14 count Aida cloth.

i started bottom left, since i naturally like to stitch upward...do whatever works best for you.  I have since found fabric that would have been large enough, but it is crazy hard to work with, and I am nearly 1/4 done, and don't want to re-do it.  I am working on 18 ct, so yours will end up bigger, but with the project, bigger is better!  Can't wait to see your start!

it took a year but I finally found 14 ct on Amazon that was 60" wide and I needed at least 59" and they sell it by the yard as a continuous piece depending on how many yards you need. And since I'm also doing a kit for an advent calendar with the same thread count and one other project so I just ordered about 5 yards altogether. I am just figuring out how to do the thread, I made a chart of how much I would need for each color but I think it would be easier if I did it by section.

Looks AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Still cant find the pattern for it which sucks = C  i tried to get it from spirite stitch, where a lot of people have said they've gotten it but my computer wont let me open it.
Is there a special program i need to open it with?? I tried Adobe but nothing. it says the file is missing or broken when i try opening it there, through there.
I LOVE POKEMON. And think this would be really really AWESOME!!!!!! I'm nearly finished the first Gen one. That's taken me a year and a half nearly. Would have been  just over a year but havent touched it in weeks.  Just gotta fill in all the little holes where i missed one or two stitch because i didnt have the colour at the time.

WOW!!!!! is all I can say!!! Looking AMAZING!!! Can't wait until it's finished!!
I've started the first Generations one. I'm half way through it, taken me 6 and a bit months. Want to tackle this one next!!! This is a monster of one but will look FANTASTIC  when done.
Can you buy cloth which would cover this size of project??
Or is it heaps easy to stitch all panels together???

i just wanted to start, so i used what i had...i did some testing and attaching them shouldn't be to difficult.  and much better then trying to deal with a piece of cloth that big while working

This is perfect !!!! I have a technical question about your project. I've seen that you split the original pattern (because it is really huge i guess). Do you plan to do the other part ? Did you know how to put together the remaining parts ? I'm interesting in doing it also :)

the project is split due to the limitations on the software...it can only do 500x500 pixels.  i will be stitching all 4 panels and attaching them together when they are done.   if you can find a piece of aida large enough, you wouldn't have to split the project like i have.  i will be leaving 5 rows/columns unstitched an the stitching them through both pieces of cloth to join them.

Ok ok ! Personally I think it is safer to split the project in several panels ;) ! Anyway, try the software Cstitch_0.9.6, I use it myself and it has no apparent limitations (I once tried the same pattern as yours, by curiosity. There was no problem at all).
Concerning the aïda, I once find a piece of fabric really large, but it was in carpet store (between 1.5 and 2 m thick I guess).

Anyway, good luck for this masterpiece !!!!! (I can't wait to see the results !)
