Hey there everyone (who is actually reading this hehe).

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer (unfortunately the weather overhere in Belgium could be better, but yeah ...
That doesn't stop me from enjoying my vacation !

At the moment i'm doing a holiday job to earn some precious money and i already know how i'm gonna spend it hehe
(Cosplay, trips and savings).

I really need a cosplay convention ! It has been too long, if you know that my last convention was Made In Asia in april... So it has been a while ! I'm starting to get rusty.
BUT it's august, so that means Abunai !! Really looking forward hanging out with some friends (in cosplay ofc ;D) and just having fun.

In terms of cosplay projects, i've got 2 projects up ahead (one is actually quite big :S and i'm actually quite worried about it ! Ah well, problems for tomorrow ). And i'm sooo ignoring DeviantArt (blame Facebook to be honest ).

And yeah i should be drawing as well, but unfortunately a day only has 24 hours !

And in september it's .... HARRY POTTER TIME !!! !!! As a huge fan of the series i will finally be able to release my inner Potter nerd one more time ! I'm going to visit the Harry Potter studios in London !! (amagawd, pottergasm). It's going to be one hell of a trip to remember and i wish it was already september ! Hell yeah, it's worth waiting for. Next stop: the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando (in my dreams, damn you expensive America!). Anyone with a spare portkey maybe? xD
Still need to get myself a plain white shirt (yes i'm looking at you , we need to go shopping!), yay for a quick and easy cosplay. Already got everything except for the shirt hehe.

Oh dear, i'm really neglecting my DA !
I do browse DA frequently, i just don't post that much like i used to do. (blame university and facebook*cough*)

Ah well another year, a new beginning ! Let me start by wishing everyone who reads this a happy 2012
Another year where you can hopefully chase your wildest dreams and have fun while doing it !

Another year also means a new cosplay year ! And for me the first convention of the new cosplay season will be
Made In Asia 4 (Brussels) in the end of March with ofc ! Gonna be fun huh ?!

(oh and you better make it to MIA ! ! !)

I hope everyone has a vibrant cosplay year without too much hassle and stress,
but instead with the opportunity to realise his/her favorite cosplays I'm already looking forward to start and see everyone else's creations.
Already got loads of ideas and inspiration !
I hope 2012 will bring me some fortune, and if everything goes well i'll finally be able to bring to life a character, which was one of my personal incentives why i started cosplaying in the first place

And i hope to do a new cosplay shoot soon

Just decided to update my DA Journal, hmm i should really start with finishing drawings that are gathering dust overhere in my room >_>
Stupid exams !! Ah well, back to the study books !

Yup, like the title says, it's summertime !!

Got my results yesterday and i PASSED ! Was a bit worried that i might had to redo one subject, but it was all stress for nothing ^^ So i'm really glad, and the summer can really start now
It's gonna be a very busy summer, but i'm really up for it. BRING IT ON ^_^

Arghh, got so many sketches laying around which i should really finish any time soon
I'll do my best xD

Regarding my cosplay plans, the next con for me will be Atsusacon at the end of this month
Going as Sebastian Michaelis with as my lovely Grell. The lenses are on their way as we speak
ANDD also busy with the group cosplay for F.A.C.T.S. in October: checking out the wigs, materials, music etc,... Gonna be awsome
And with all of these new plans my Blood Elf will be put on hold Though i'm prob gonna finish the robe this summer (only needs the golden embroidery anyway ). The wig and the weapon will have to wait ^^

I discovered another good anime recently, which i'm totally hooked to atm
After some delays etc, i finally started with Code Geass and i have to say i lives up to its expectations !

The fact that it's an anime that's so unpredictable and the powerful storyline, make it a need-to-watch anime The way events twist the storyline...It's quite popular and as always i'm running behind with anime
But meh, can you blame me: school, social life, cosplay, and looaddss of other stuff.

And argh my need-to-watch list is getting bigger and bigger ! But for now, i'd recommend to watch Code Geass (if you're also running behind like me )
Lelouch reminds me a lot of Light, he's just as brilliant and ingenious !

And yeah i should draw more, because i'm SOOOO neglecting it. Come to think of it... i have some sketches lying around, i just need to finish them someday -_-"


Oh and when i find some spare-time, i also try to work a bit on my cosplay My blood elf costume is progressing, it's nearly finished, so i can start with the golden details. It's slow progress, but i'm getting there ! No need to rush it, so i just work on it when i feel like.

Also have another cosplay project coming up soon, with my best friend so we'll see how that'll turn out. One thing for sure: it will be epic ! !

Con Agenda:
- BIFFF (?) Not sure about that one, so it's a big "Maybe" atm
- Atsusacon: 23-24th July (Antwerp expo meeting center, Belgium)
- Abunai: 26-28th August (Veldhoven, The Netherlans)
- F.A.C.T.S.: 22-23th October (Flanders Expo, Belgium)

This weekend it was Made In Asia 3, at Brussels Expo. It was the 3rd time that the con was being held, and the first time i was going to visit that con (since people have been recommending it to me several times).

So i went with the usual cosplay/friends group (woot as Silent Hill Nurse and her brother as Light ==> fan girls all over the place!!)
I have to say that this con has been a big success for me. Had so much fun and i'll definiately return next year !

At times it was even a bit too crowded on saturday, so this con is growing rapidly o_O

Had a great time with other cosplayers, and even found some special ones for a group pic (i'll upload my cosplay pictures once i get them )

Going to try to get a shoot and get some nice cosplay pics :3

The cosplays were also great, and the level was very high (which showed especially during the cosplay competition). There was a nice vibe in the audience and the performances on stage were awsome ^^

There were also Belgian selections for Eurocosplay 2011, and the competition was strong !
But ah well, only shows that Belgium is not to be underestimated as a small country
The winner was well-deserved and he'll do a great job in representing Belgian Cosplay in London.

Finally, i also served as translator since it was in Brussels (so a lot of French) ^^
