no one is disowning and kicking people out of their houses for being straight. being heterosexual is absolutely okay and literally no one is saying otherwise

those are only a few isolated incidents, being LGBTQAP+ or any of the billions of genders is now the most socially acceptable thing cause
people are sacred of going to prison and being digitally crucified. gays should just be happy being treated like everyone else but now they
want to be treated like royalty. your character should define you, not what you want to shove sausage into or what you want in your doughnut,
skin color shouldn't define you ether. you are a member of the human race, there are always gonna be people who will hate you for the most
trivial shit. if you want to look for oppression than look to the middle east. the us is slowly becoming the middle east for white straight males
like myself, i mean why would Antifa call for the killing of whites and straights, you know.. the group the fbi wanted to classify as a terrorist organization
like the Taliban and isis, and i am sure you know what they do to homosexuals

while the treatment of the lgbt community is certainly getting better, it's definitely not completely socially acceptable. one of my biggest fears is being disowned by members of my family if they find out i'm bi: this isn't an exaggeration, i know for a fact that if they found out they'd lose their shit. i know several people who have been kicked out for being gay, laughed at and scorned by their family when they came out, chased down the street by homophobes who wanted to assault them, have made plans to run away from home to escape rampant transphobia, etc.. these aren't just a few isolated incidents: gay people have been treated like garbage for centuries, and though it's been improving over the past few decades, things certainly aren't perfect.

the only reason someone would be "digitally crucified" is if they're being homo/bi/transphobic or are trying to invade lgbt-specific spaces when they themselves are cisgender & heterosexual. if someone is attacking a polite person for no reason other than they're straight, then yeah, that's a shitty and counterproductive thing to do, but it's in no way comparable to the hell that lgbt people have to go through every day. generally, the internet is a pretty lgbt friendly place (because of anonymity), and because of this, some people make personas in lgbt-specific circles where they can discuss their experiences. if you go to one of these lgbt-specific communities, you'll find nothing but discussion of gay issues (obviously), but because of the context, this does not mean that these people only care about being lgbt. now, if someone excessively flaunts their sexuality in an area not specific to lgbt people, then yeah, it's pretty annoying, but this is usually a telltale sign that their either: #1, a young kid, or #2, experience a lot of discrimination irl and haven't come out anywhere except online. now, a lot of people like to claim that pride events are hypocritical jerkoffs where we all get together to celebrate only our sexualities, but this is false. "pride events" don't mean the exact same as the regular word "pride".. it's less about celebrating something you can't control and more about just.. not being ashamed. putting up a big, rainbow middle finger to a world that hates you and doesn't want you to exist. it's a celebration of the community's triumph, of it's rich history and culture. it's acknowledging the horrible abuse that so many of us go through just for being who we are, acknowledging the pain and the hardships that we as individuals and the community as a whole have suffered, and working together to stop these hardships as we move forward. when lgbt people are finally truly equal one day, pride won't be needed anymore, as it is for a marginalized group to discuss its marginalization.

you say "look to the middle east" as if i support those countries and think they can do no wrong. i have nothing against middle eastern people themselves, but the governments of the countries there are abhorrent and i do not support them at all. i do wish there would be more human rights demonstrations there, and if i could, i would do some myself! but the fact that things are worse for lgbt people in the middle east does not excuse the fact that things are still pretty bad in the states. and no, goddammit, the us is not fucking becoming "the middle east for straight white men". you yourself literally claim that antifa is the one that wants to kill straight white men and then say that the fbi wants to label it a terrorist organization. even by your own admission, the government is on your side. you are not oppressed. when the supreme court is deciding whether or not people can be fired for being straight-- something they are currently doing for lgbt people-- then your argument may have some backing.
