Let's see.. what's new?
Well, for starters, me and my friend Magic magicgriffin13.deviantart.com/
had another little challenge.
The theme this time was to make an arm accessory - free choice of style and materials. We both wanted to get going crafting something.
Here's how it turned out:

Again, they turned out very different from each other, and we're both very happy with the results.
What I'm mostly amazed at is the fact that I managed to stay calm when I totally messed up with one of the eyelets for my accessory. That's the sort of thing I always kind of fear and it's probably the main reason why I sometimes get stuck during a crafting project.. I fear to mess it up beyond repair, so I wait and wait and end up starting up some other project instead.. But now I know that I can face a mess-up and still live and be happy!
Well, as I mentioned in my last journal, I made an attempt at entering a contest for the ImagineFX Magazine.
I came up with a nice idea and almost finished the sketch when.. well, all of a sudden I had this tremendous pain in my back that I couldn't understand where it was coming from! It kept up for days, and I even had to stay home from work one day because of it. Then it toned down a bit and went to just bearable.
I decided to go easy on drawing though, so as the contest was drawing to a close, I realized that I wouldn't finish it on time. But it's okay.
I still feel that I learned from it, and I will definitely try again as soon as I find another nice competition.
(I still like the picture as well, so I wanna finish it up some time.)
As for my back-pain, I realized a couple of weeks later when it returned, but in a much lighter way, that I had been warned about just this from my trainer in PoleFitness - it was simply muscle soreness from a normally very unused muscle.
So, all good since that should mean I'm getting stronger.
