Yang Character Sheet (ALB3)

Backstory: Yang is the half sister and sworn sister of Gao Changgong and Gao Yanzong but still keeps her name because of Empress Wu Zetian suggesting it to her. She lost her parents at a young age and had to rely on her grandmother/adoptive mother named Wu Zetian before she became the Empress and a wife of QSH + the (lesser according to QSH because she is a woman) Empress. Growing up, Yang was taught by Wu that women may be lesser than men, but a daughter should be as tough as a son. Eventually, Tang Taizong was brought back successfully by the late King Zhuangxiang of Qin. In his cost, he had to die and lose his immortality in the process which was given to Qin Shi Huang. 

Eventually, Taizong married a woman going blind and having to be cared for by her eldest son, Gao Changgong, who was only 10 at the time. They both agreed on this for multiple reasons, and love was among them. This made Yang Guifei the sworn sister and half sister of both Changgong and his brother, Gao Yanzong. A few months afterward, it was time for a new emperor to take the throne. Wu Zetian was denied the throne due to her gender and sentenced to prison until after the crowning of the new emperor. This left an 11 year old Yang Guifei with her grandfather/adoptive father and half mother (IDK how those things work, please explain it to me). Child Yang Guifei was scared and terrified of what would happened, but she and her brothers were hoping that Tang Taizong would be emperor again and that they would have a new Tang Dynasty. Unfortunately, things were proven otherwise as Qin Shi Huang had agreed with a strange alien goddess that all the male emperors who were the best candidates for emperor should be poisoned. He then usurped the throne and forced women to marry him or one of his supporters or die. Only two women, Gao Meiying and Wu Zetian were able to marry him. Everyone else had either been married to one of his supporters or executed if they "weren't attractive enough".

Yang was never able to learn how to fight despite the whole "women should be as strong as men" ideals Wu taught her because QSH didn't believe women should learn how to fight and are too delicate to fight in the army (ironically, Qin Liangyu is able to fight because of her surname being "Qin" while Ao Bing is there because of Jiang Ziya). Female servants are an exception, but this Yang is the revived and de aged version from proper human history. She is expected to be at home in the palace, do women's hobbies, and eventually give QSH another child after marrying a man. Even if said man is Qin Shi Huang himself. Meanwhile, her half brothers have the opportunity to go out and fight for Qin. Fortunately, Yang is on good terms with both of her brothers and is often at Meiying's house due to A-Yue having to be cared for frequently. If Yang is to have her own children, Gao Yue would be great practice for her.

Appearance: Like I said before, Yang's design is based off of Jiang Yanli from MDZS. I see her being that type of character if Gao Su needs an older sister to look after him. There wasn't much to change about her appearance other than make her OG dress longer, but I wanted something else like a Wuxia or CDrama type design. Her hair has been changed to brown instead of purple (not that there was much of a difference anyway) and given a different style, but there isn't anything else besides her clothing that has been changed.

Personality: Since this is Yang before becoming both a servant in Chaldea and a foreigner class servant, she is much kinder and softer here and not pretending to be that way like she was in Imaginary Scramble. She does have to be a bit tougher because of how Wu Zetian raised her. If she is not able to become a bride, the least she can do is become an elder sister type of figure and be that way towards her brothers. Unfortunately, while she does consider Wu a good mother type of figure, Wu still scares her from time to time due to how intimidating she is compared to her. Wu has asked her maids to threaten her with a saw if she doesn't do as she is told or even simply call her grandmother instead of mother because she feels she is still young. It's mainly because of Wu that QSH doesn't toy with Yang but he could if desired. He is but a man hurting women, aka the lesser gender. They are no different then pigs as a whole in his eyes. Yang is deeply afraid of being in the palace because of this and wonders if QSH could hurt her. She is willing to care for Gao Su every time he is hurt, but is scared of being hurt by him too.
