I'm home from the Hobbit World Premiere! While I did enjoy it - I felt it was both... Awesome.. and a big disappointment.. Quite a mix of feelings.. Let me explain..Reasons it was awesome: When I went there, I went at noon (to ensure I could get parking mostly) and ended up getting a really good position at the red carpet near the start end, with some lovely people around me - one in his home made ranger costume which actually looked BRILLIANT. They were also giving things out - one was a blank poster sized sheet with a pic of the painted airplane at the bottom with plenty of space above for autographs. Ok so you know how my last journal entry was about my laptop being fixed?Yeah.. it tried to die again on me tonight...However this time, thanks to my fantastic father, he was able to save my laptop without us needing to send it in for repair.Something had happened with the Windows Boot files, and Dad ultimately had to put the windows install disc into my laptop and do a repair.  He ALMOST had to reinstall windows from scratch because it wasn't going to let him do a repair.. but he finally got it working.So I'm feeling pretty relieved that it's working again..   But we'll be keeping a close eye on this thing..And we've decided we're never g...

Sorry for lack of contact or updates recently!My laptop decided to die.  The hard drive failed.We sent it in to get repaired and it's been returned with a brand new (and BIGGER) hard drive, and they even managed to SAVE all of my data!  Nothing was lost!  It's awesome!!So I should be able to start getting back into the swing of things now...
