So....a six year old died in Florida from rabies (shouldn't have died but his parents were morons)
1. Parents find sick bat and instead of like.....properly disposing of it or calling animal control, they put it in a bucket and tell the SIX YEAR OLD not to touch it (being a six year old, he naturally reaches in and gets scratched)
2. Instead of treating the scratch as a potential rabies infection, the parents decided to just wash the scratch with soap and water.
3. When they did go to the hospital, the parents allowed the KID to make the decision on getting the rabies shots or not. He said no because "shots hurt."
For fucks sake, what happened to parents PARENTING?
You do not let your six year old be the one to make life or death decisions.
