Descent of Angels was the first Horus Heresy titles i have read, I know that its not one of the best in the series, but me being a noob in the WH40K universe back then, i really liked the novel as it tell the story from a different perspective.

Its kind of a spoiler, but hay we all know what happens to the Dark Angels...

Depicting Zahariel as a boy, later to become an Astartes and to play a major role in the Dark Angel history.

a lot of artistic licenses are used here so dont pay much attention to them :P although i would like to hear you thoughts on armor, history of the Dark Angels ...etc
thoughts and comments are more than welcome :D

Very characterful. He's an interesting point of view character as his childhood informs his character moreso than most 40k characters.

He is just lovely, even though he is corrupted, he looks so innocent, a pretty little angel :) Can't wait to see Nemiel

Well, back then I was a noob I thought that the Black Angels were corrupted by Nurgle .... so yeah...

I don't think so...yes by chaos, but not by nurgle. (although some have)

It was Tzeentch who has corrupted them.
victortky's avatar
I suspect so, but they destroyed a slaneesh demon.

technically the dark angels were corrupted, but not completely, those who were corrupted are known as fallen angels, and this has been the forever shame and secret of the dark angels

He is looking nice, though the corruption colors are that of Nurgle, Pestilence God of Chaos, when the Dark Angels who fell to Chaos were corrupted by Tzeentch. Other than that, it is a beautiful picture, I would love to see his cousin, Nemiel, done o.o

Are u sure that it wasnt Nurgle :S coz the novels were hinting strongly toward Nurgle corruption hmmmmm
I wasnt a fan of Nemiel, but the second book was really good, kinda love the character now.

Yeah, it's more Tzeentch in the 2nd book, because Luther turns to Chaos to save his world from Nurgle's corruption and Imperium control. Also, the 2nd book just loves Nemiel.

hmmmmm its not so clear, it seems that the Nurgle's corruption just found its way through

It's a Black Library book.. The most clear they get is how things die. But, as I said, would love to see Nemiel done by your skillful hand, good patron.
