Here's a Thank you Card for :iconbjartskularbrisingr1: who drew this really nice gift of Energeia.

She asked me if I could draw something related to South Park. I'm not a fan of South Park despite having seen a few episodes, but I took a try at its cut-paper style. Using some few South Park references, I drew this picture with circles, triangles, lines, whatever on my own in the similar manner as their creators did when they first created the cartoon.

Energeia and her protective sister, Akosmia are my own original character portrayed in South Park style.

Stan Cartman Kye and Kenny belongs to Trey Parker and Matt Stone the creators of South Park.

Not really. It was a pun on the fact that Akosmia and Energeia was visiting Shagway close to Canadian border. :)

Is Energeia really from Alaska?

Not really. It's a sort of playing a pun on the fact that Energeia and Akosmia stayed at Shagway, Alaska. :)

Hahah, that's great! XD Energeia looks so cute in this style! :D (Big Grin)

Cartman better watch his mouth if he doesn't want the plot from "Bigger, Longer and Uncut" movie to reverse itself. Sweating a little...

I see by other comments that you disike the show for repetive jokes (Kenny's dying) and crude humour based on early episodes. I have to say that for the former it's no longer the case in my opinion - after season 3 the show started to treat itself more seriously. The old gags are now almost non-existent, dull characters killed off, and I feel like there isn't any episode that has seems the same like another. To be honest, I struggled to watch season 1 episodes because of how boring they were. Even the movie isn't as good as some season 4 episodes. In fact, the creators didn't want to make commentaries for second season because of how bad it was. Honestly, I'm much happier that South Park is ongoing then, for example, the Simpsons are.
The crude humour and vulgarity is still there because the creators believe that there isn't a thing that shouldn't be laughed at. I understand that some people don't like this kind of comedy, but it should be kept in mind that South Park is way more then poop and farts (episodes like "Raisins", "Cartman Sucks" or "The Poor Kid" are just examples).

I kinda become a fan so sorry for the babbling. Sweating a little... Anyways, I'm glad that you decided to do this drawing even though you don't like the show. Thank you!! :D (Big Grin)

Glad to hear that. :D

Indeed.

No worries there. ^_^ My research on South Park did show that there had been changes made to it that helped it kept going to 22nd(?) season. Those few episodes I saw were somewhere in the middle. The first one and only one I actually liked was about Cartman time-traveling to get Nintendo Wii sooner and that episode got me to try other episodes... I couldn't remember what other episodes were, but I know that they made me dislike the series and move on.

You're welcome. ^_^

Yep, it's on its 22nd season now. I wonder if the whole #cancelsouthpark thing is a lampshade that they want to cancel the show or not. I've heard that Comedy Central ordered another season already, though. However, if they want to end the show when it still has pretty good quality, it'll probably be for its own best and I'd be glad if it'll happen.

Ah, you mean the "Go God Go" two-part episode. Yeah, that's one of the best ones, not one of my favorites though. The next episode in order was critisized for being too mean-spirited (the one about Stan couching kindergarden hockey team) so maybe it's one of these that made you dislike the series. Oh, and the episode with Towelie the talking towel was in the same season too - and that's one of the episodes I like the least as I really dislike that character. Sweating a little...

This "CancelSouthpark" might be a joke or prank, but that's just a guess there.

I saw that "Go God Go" episode when I stayed at my brother's place and it was a while before I could watch a few other episodes..... Right now, I don't have any access to Comedy Central channel. Right now, I'd rather be writing my own stories. :XD:

Well, it might be that too. Judging from the show's comments on it, they might use it for an episode. They even showed that tag in the background for current episodes. I guess we'll find out in this season's finale.

Actually, you don't need Comedy Central to watch it right now. On South Park Studios official webside, you can watch the whole series legally for free. The only episodes that aren't available there are the ones where Muhammad appears and for some strange reason (there is some kind of error) "Holiday Special" from season 21. One great thing about it is that these episodes are available worldwide (not Region 1-Only like many other streaming services) and the episodes from the newest season are added a day after the premiere in US. Watching legally for free has never been so amazing for me.  XD

Well, reading/watching other stories between writing your own can be quite helpful especially when it comes to series from different creators. I might read some good books before, but only after getting a little bit on different medias of art and stories by authors I wouldn't normally read I started to think on how to write my own stories. *sigh* Which I still can't find time to complete and publish...

Perhaps....

Yes, I took a look at this official website of South Park and I had ran into some difficulties related to adblocks and I rather not get too much spams in my emails. So I had to find "Dead Kids" and "Boy and Priest" episodes in different places......well... and my reaction is kinda similar to that of Stan's mustachied father when he was changing the channels on the TV. ^^; I'm sorry but I didn't laugh at all and I'm kinda put off by those rude jokes the people made at their church at expense of Butters' priest friend and kids being killed by at the school shootings.  To quote Taffe when she was trying out several of Breanne's mangas: "I don't get why it's popular, it's not that good." ^^; So those rude jokes and offensive humor are very putting off, Thank you anyway.

Well that's strange - I haven't god any difficulties with spam on that website with nor without adblock. Maybe you have different adblocker or somehow these spams can't pop up on my bowser because I have non-American computer, I dunno. What a shame.

"Tell him to watch some more episode, BB1", I said. "He wouldn't get putted off it even more", I said. Oh boy.

I feel like you've missed the point on what is supposed to be a joke and what a commentary on society. That pedophile jokes adults made at the church weren't supposed to be funny - they were supposed to show how ridiculous poeple's apathy towards this topic had become. Same with school shootings in earlier episode - it's not what the characters said personally that was funny, it was the satirical situation that turned the joke around. It seems that apathy is the theme for current season though. I understand that you might not like that kind of satire. But keep in mind that they joked about both sides of every topic whenever they could and even at their own structure and giving aesops. The rule is not "eh let's make a rude joke at my neighboor" but "No one and nothing is immune to critic and comedy and here's why". God, they even made fun of Polish government with tons of f-bombs thrown at a certain "Polish midget" and it didn't offended me. They didn't say "haha Polacks suck", which would be rude, they said "Polish goverment seems to kiss Trump's butt a lot" which is true opinion described in satire.
Honestly, I couldn't really relate to "Dead Kids" because of the topic but I relate a little bit on Sharon being forced to follow the crowd in not caring about it. I really like "Boy and Priest" and you heard that from a Catholic who had heard way worse critic on this religion then on this show, seriously.

I think the only why that I can show how it's not "just popular thing that's not really that good" can be my favorite episode "Raisins" because the only offensive thing I can remember from that episode is one c-word pun joke and the whole Raisins girls thing for some people. However, it's message on the end is one of the best things I've ever seen in any work, not only in the animated series! But I don't want to force you to watch it if you don't want to. I'm just sad that South Park different style of satire makes poeple thing as only "offensive show that wants to be rude at serious thinks while having poop jokes in its early days". I understand that some poeple just don't get it and don't like this kind of storytelling. Like, poeple see things in many ways and I can't force people to see what they are unable to see, but I'm getting very worried about some SP haters calling its fans "insane rasist" even though the show made jabs at racism in numerous episodes. poor butters :c

That's usually why I tend to be wary of any video websites....and my mother had her laptop been infected too many times.....

Yep, it didn't work out well and it's simply not a good match-up. I do get the point and that's why I'm not one of those S.P. haters. So all I can say is that I'm simply not a fan of it and not interested in seeing more. That's it.
