61 Theme Ch. Fairy Tale by SailorEnergy 61 Theme Ch. Fairy Tale by SailorEnergy
61st theme of Theme Challenge is Fairy Tale.

Here, Ferdinand Cook the "Pirate-Wannabe" telling a fairy tale story the pirate way which turned out to be unoriginal with total plagerism of the classic fairy tales. ^^;

Hate it when someone takes so many fairy tales and butchers them into one atrocious monstrosity...

Azriel: A better fairy tale would be how I met my beloved Alice. *he proceeds to tell a 20-minute long tale about a warrior prince rescuing a tormented seamstress from a horde of vikings, with himself as the warrior prince and Alice as the Seamstress*

Azriel: Okay then. *He proceeds to tell another 20-minute tale, this one about a dark warrior princess named Jezebel saving the world from Persian soldiers made entirely of crystal*

Azriel: You are one tough customer... But your request has merit. *He retells the tale, swapping out every instance of the word "Persian" with the word "Immortal". As an added bonus, he describes Jezebel as if she were Azriel's beloved Alice*

Just in case you need the reference as to why the word "Persian" was replaced with "immortal" in Azriel's story: Back in the days of the Persian empire, there existed a type of heavily-armored infantry called the Immortals (because, each time a soldier died, another took his place). They were  both the Persian army, and the king's bodyguards.

Yes, I know, but it doesn't seem right to make the Perisans be villianious espeically since the Persian Empire was founded by Cyrus the Great well-known for his great tolerance and support of many cultures and religions within his empire. That's possibly the earliest example of human rights. His empire prospered until Alexander invaded it. To some greeks, he's a hero, but to the Persians and any other middle-east cultures, he's a villain. To better understand history, one have to consider all points of view.
