Yeah it still works on newer Windows 10, just rename the folder and file to "aero" and "aerostyle.theme" and also "aero.msstyle" inside the folder

works with 1903, just have to take ownership of themeui.dll and uxinit.dll before patching with ultra uxtheme patcher

I cannot get this to work... I am on build 1809.
Is it because of the theme patcher? Because I can't get it to work and I have the latest theme patcher which is intended for version 1809. Everytime I run it, it works fine, however it always says that uxtheme.dll does not need patching and that both uxinit.dll and themeui.dll are not yet patched. In the next page it says that it successfully patches them, however I still don't manage to use custom themes and when I run the theme patcher again I find out that themeui.dll and uxinit.dll both need patching again? Is this because I am using an updated version of 1809?

How? Can you please tell me? Did you get your C and D drive icons to work I cant seem to get it to work for 1809...
You did a great job! I saw that someone managed to make the windows XP theme with perfectly square title bar buttons. However this theme is not free to download. I was wondering if you could maybe try and make them like his. I also want to make you aware that some elements like the toolbar buttons are not like they are in windows XP and it is possible to change these elements because I changed them in resource hacker and it worked. Although over all you did a great job and the difference is felt when changing the theme.
