say is there a way to download the exact version of the Windows 7 paint thats installed there to a xp  either rar or exe file ? cause this might sound strange I love the win7 version better than the xp version since the crayon tool is good for blending also it allows you to zoom out more rather than the original

No way cause XP have some limitation. ;)

This can also work without actually replacing the original in the Windows/System 32 directory, if for some reason you want to keep both (or at least, it did for me, in Windows 7 Ultimate SP1)...

But thanks! You're awesome! : )

Thank you soooo much for this! It is VERY much appreciated. I have Win 7 on my laptop and love the additional things you can do in Paint. But my mother has an XP and she uses Paint *a lot* but when I try to help her, most of the things I do, she cannot. Simple but VERY useful things like the right-click zoom out. But when I searched online for some way to do this, the only help I got from the forums was "Just get Pain>NET (or another photo editor) and be done with it...they are much better than Paint!" Obviously trying to help, but not understanding that sometimes users know what they need best.

So, again, thank you. I emailed the url of this page to myself for the next time I am at my mom's PC.

Bye.

I'm so Glad !! Thanks! I Myself was never able to draw good on the win7 ms paint ... It just looks too colorful and (sorry) has useless tools (which look very childish for me) :D \(^-^)/
