You know it strikes me as odd for someone to depict (sp?) these scenes, and I was wondering what your religion was, or are you and atheist?

That's both simple and complicated...

I'm basically an agnostic, but I believe that history, science and philosophy all point to theistic religions being absurd if taken literally. I think that the answer to all, or the comprehension of all things, is impossible for humanity to fully grasp and exists on a level far beyond the worship of anthropomorphic natural forces.

I'm pretty cool with taking myths as archetypes however, which is what a lot of secular Christians, Heathens and such do. Until recently I called myself a Satanist in such a way.

I see, that's interesting. lol, I was talking to my mother earlier today and I said: "So 6,000 years ago, some guy living in a desert was told by a magical voice in the sky to kill his son... and you believe that he's watching you? I don't know who fits the definition of insane more, you or Abraham."

As I found just about all the entries in here great works in their own right; and since I faved so many of them, I decided to write my commentary here.

This section of your gallery is everything I'd want from occult fantasy and more. It reflects the source material well and has a rich traditional skill embedded in every piece. I of course gravitated instantly toward your seven sins set with the demon lords but I also found the pieces like 'The Dead Church' and 'Dragon Priest' equally enthralling. This is really great work and I hope you continue to add more to these themes in the future.

Thanks a lot. I really need to get back to doing some more independent fantasy illustration, even though doing commissions for heavy metal bands gives me similar subjects to work with.
