NOTE: I received some of my characters for free and have not given them any art. (Just clarifying in case anyone is worried I'm trying to profit off of characters I received for free!)
Update on Me
TLDR: I'm not doing digital art much anymore, and I won't be posting on this account anymore. I am selling most of my OCs (link towards the end). I'll still be checking notifications if anyone wants/needs to contact me for something though!
Hey all! I just wanted to post an update on my situation to anyone that may be interested—I realize I've been pretty much gone from this platform for around a year now. I'm not into digital art as much as I used to be; I've moved more towards traditional art media like painting. I've also started to put more time into my works and am developing my art style. I prefer to draw realism over a more cartoony art style, and I'm not really interested in doing "OC art" like fullbodies and headshots as much anymore. I couldn't tell you why, but that's just how it is I guess. (It also kinda sucks because I finally got a new drawing tablet a little before I stopped liking digital art as much but it is what it is :/) I haven't completely given up on digital art (I still enjoy doing graphic design), but with my shift away from OC art, it's a bit harder for me to enjoy doing it.
As such, I'm not really interested in OCs anymore in general. I'll certainly be keeping some (probably around 50 because I'm incredibly indecisive), but I'm mainly just interested in ones that I have stories I have written for. I don't want any to go to waste and I could certainly use the money, so I'll be selling all the rest. I'll put a link at the bottom of this journal to my character-sale TH account if anyone is interested!
You might have already guessed this, but I will probably no longer post on this account. I actually come back and check on my notifications on this account and my TH account around once a week, but I'm just not interested in OC art anymore, and I feel like that was the only thing really holding me to deviantART, especially with the major update. I'm incredibly sad that I won't be working on tumbell dragons any longer, but I just don't find myself as interested in them (If someone else wants to take over the group, please note me; I'd love to see them still active!). I am still making art, and I may post some of it elsewhere online in the future, but as of now I don't really have any kind of active social media.
Big thank you to anyone who read this all the way through, or even anyone who clicked on it. I didn't really have a big following at any point, but I wanted to post this for the few people who may have wondered where I went and as a final goodbye. Thanks for the good times, deviantART!
