Sunset dragons

More watercolour practice. Once again I've opted for the twin challenges of sunsets and water. Why do I keep doing this to myself LoL.

(answer: Taking the easy option won't make me get better)

The picture was painted with Daler Rowney Aquafine watercolours (pan type) on 160gsm artist's paper.

Dragons drawn with a black Faber-Castell Goldfaber Aqua watercolour pencil used dry.

(The grey shadows are caused by the paper not being dead flat on the scanner bed. The water causes the paper to warp a little)
