Prologue:
My Fascination
          Humans. They are the most interesting species of intelligent life I’ve ever come across. Humans have an incredible knack for survival. Disasters. Plagues. War. Some of the most significant events in their history occurred through my intervention. Mostly to relieve my endless boredom that comes with being immortal. I’ve tested them many times over; however, they always adapt. They find a way to overcome. I set them down one path, but it never ends how I expect, and no matter how many times I watch it happen, my amazement never ceases. They possess the will to alter the world around them, and what’s even more fascinating is their justification of it.
          Most of them believe the end result justifies the means. I’ve watched as kingdoms, empires, and nations all rise united by one belief and fall to another. It seems as times continues onward what holds them together is drives
