Three Movies (Read Description)

Aside from personal experiences, there were three movies that helped me plot out the story for Tails: American History X, The Butterfly Effect, and Hard Candy. Two of those films have prison scenes that demonstrate the harsh reality of life behind bars while the last one is about a fourteen-year-old girl psychologically torturing a predator to the point of suicide. I've had to think carefully about how to approach Tails' situation, because it isn't about shocking the audience with unnecessary brutality. He'll probably have to put up with some rough treatment from other inmates, but I don't think they'd take it as far as sexual assault for a couple of reasons, with one being he is still a minor. The other is because many inmates condemn that sort of behavior as well. It wouldn't make much sense for them to do the same thing. Physical violence seems to be the most likely outcome, though Sonic does ask later whether anyone's tried to attack him in a sexual manner. They're both aware of how the prison system works, so assessing the risks is their number one priority, because the worse it gets, the faster they need to get him out of there. That's where Lily really comes into effect.
