DARKNESS BEYOND 1-15-1 The Dark House
The House had many names, Massacre Mansion, House of Devils, House of Blood, The Dark House, and House of Shadows, were the most common names when identifying The Specter House, built by Warren Specter almost two hundred years ago to date. The House—a mansion really, a Victorian Painted Lady of russet and forest green—came with seventeen rooms, including two living areas, two pool rooms; one with a round pool, ten feet in diameter, the other empty, save for the dust that had accumulated over the ten years of occupancy absenteeism, or vacancy--although there had been more than just a few squatters. Furthermore, The Specter House had two kitchens, five bathrooms, and two parlors.
There was was no electricity inside the house. It had been discontinued since the last owner had mysteriously disappeared. For this reason, all the rooms were completely shrouded in darkness.
