Back in the day, during the early '00s, me and my older brother were really into the alternative scene. Mall Goth, metal, horror, fantasy, we did it all. In fact, I was probably more into it than he was. The heavier the music and darker the storyline, the better. In my current story Skylines, Lily grew up around those influences as well under the guidance of an older man who served as her caretaker, mentor, and surrogate father figure. She uses them as a form of therapy to help Tails channel his emotions, which are usually repressed to an extreme. Unlike Tails, Lily actively hates their parents for abandoning them, and she's bound and determined to make up for lost time.
