One of the first episodes of Pokemon I ever watched, and the one that cemented Bulbasaur as my favourite starter!  I still remember my jaw hitting the floor after seeing Solar Beam!

I remember this. It was apparently some sort of saur grass pokemon chanting ritual meant to induce evolution, and Ash, for some reason, prevented his own Bulbasaur from going through with it.
