Background: Valor was born as the runt of a litter of six Tabaxi kittens. His family was unable to properly care for such a delicate creature and so gave him over to the local church before leaving to return to their homeland. As he grew up in the church, he began to admire and idolize the paladins of the associated order. The paladins enjoyed his company and encouraged him to learn sword fighting and the ways of their order. He eagerly lapped up all of the knowledge they offered and became quite skilled. He became so skilled that when he petitioned to join the order as soon as he came of age they were not even going to make him complete the normal initiation, but he insisted and passed with flying colors.
