Peter Pan

🌈📖Technicolor Tales (11/12): Peter Pan 🌳🔔✨ Peter Pan means a great deal to a great many people. I enjoyed the movie Come Away (2020) an imaginative retelling of Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. I made Peter a delightfully triumphant black boy with a playful afro and Wendy a beautiful brown girl, kept a little ambiguous so that many more can relate to her. 💚 I also wanted to touch on my exploration with AI on this project. I painted everything manually but I sourced some of my inspiration/references from AI images I prompted. I felt it helped me get ideas for composition, rendering techniques, and coloring and could be used as a tool in this regard. But I stress that it should never be used as a replacement for the illustration process.
