Silver Head Mountain-
Silver Head Mountain Range is a large, ice-capped mountain range, with deathly cold winds, one of the harshest areas on Mobotopia. Not much is known about what is on the mountain ranges as not many people dare venture up into the blizzards and vertical inclines make it impossible to venture far anyway. Many people have gone missing up at Silver Head Mountain.
Temple of Devotion-
A Temple not far from Sakura City. The city folk still to this day hold their deity in high regard, and once a week will send food offerings and the town mayor often comes to the Temple to talk to the deity, always asking for advice to keep the city peaceful, making sure the deity knows of their devotion. It is feared that the deity is not very remorseful, so any signs of not being devoted to the deity will be punished... so say the townsfolk. Will that ever happen?
Sakura City (City) -
The Northernmost city on the island of Mobotopia, Sakura City is nested snuggly amongst the Silver Head Mountain range. It is a small city, with its architecture similar to the designs of those seen in our own the far east. The whole of Sakura city is constantly left with a slight blanket of cherry blossoms thanks to the many cherry trees planted by generations of villagers who believed that the planting of a cherry tree during the funeral ritual would grant new life for the village.
The citizens of Sakura city tend to be reserved folk, who do not much care for fighting or bloodshed. The city is light, but cold due to being up in the mountains.
Serene Springs -
Serene Springs is a hot spring resort not far from Sakura City. It is home to a large hotel, revolving around the hot springs, thanks to the volcanic activity of Mt Silver Head. It is a popular resort for couples, or weary adventurers. There is also an old restaurant at Serene Springs.
Ruins of Anguish -
The Ruins of Anguish are ruins of an old castle run by the ruler of the north of Mobotopia in the days of old. The ruins are now left a death trap of obstacles, hide-outs, lost treasures and a series of tunnels running underneath the ruins up to Sakura City, and perhaps even many more. There could be plenty of treasures hidden away in the ruins for any brave adventurers to find! It is said that the ruins are also haunted by the soldiers who lost their lives battling to keep the castle from being taken from rivals in the south.
Misery is a miserable town. The folk in Misery really do keep to their location. Nothing can seem to cheer up the folk in misery. Dark clouds loom over the town, and it is said that anyone who stays in Misery for over 3 days will become miserable just like the citizens, so adventurers are to keep away!
Verdant Jungle -
Verdant Jungle is a large luscious jungle at the foot of Mt Silver Head, stretching down towards Mobotopia. The Jungle is full of the most beautiful, and most deadly, plant life that lives on Mobiaus. Seedrian nomadic tribes live in the jungle and have done for thousands of years. Most tribes are friendly but are very far flung from the modern society of the rest of Mobotopia.
The Jungle is very thick, very dense, so traveling alone is discouraged.
Plain ol' Pastures -
Acres and acres of farming land, Plain ol' Pastures is home to several small settlements of farmers who grow and produce food for the rest of the country. Currently, the area is going through a struggle between old methods for the more laid back or traditional farmers verses the money hungry, consumer-conscious farmers with new technology and methods of farming. The ever growing population of Mobotopia has called for a higher demand of supplies meaning many workers of plain ol' pastures are over worked, highly stressed busy-bodies. Each settlement is different, and adventurers or visitors should be mindful of this.
Mobotopia (Capital City) -
Mobotopia City is right in the centre of the continent, and not only geographically. It is a the hub of all main businesses on Mobotopia, with an airport that connects Mobotopia to the rest of Mobiaus as well as the Unity Resort. Mobotopia is constantly growing as folk from all over come to the city to find work, especially in the electronics and technology departments. Mobotopia also has the best hospital in the entire region with some of the finest doctors working with advanced robotics to bring the people of Mobotopia a new lease on life. As a result, the population is forever aging as people are living older.
There is however a serious class divide in the city. The centre of Mobotopia is luxurious, high tech and very sought after, especially the wealthier of the population. The further from the centre you leave, the rougher the area, and the further from the breadline the residents live. Crime rates around the outskirts of the city are quite high, but due to the brilliant Mobotopia police force, most incidents are taken care of rapidly.
Bristopolis (City) -
Affectionately known by locals as "Construction City Zone", Bristopolis is an old city forever stuck in a perpetual loop of construction. New buildings are forever being built while old ones being taken down and renovated, as well as new roads forever being constructed to better improve the flow of the city, but only to reduce the flow of the city in the process. As a city, it is rather backwards in many ways and but the residents are happy, laid back folk who just deal with the constant changing and delays that occur in the city. Most workers don't even know why they are constantly ripping down and replacing the city but it is the Bristopolis way.
Fun Fact: The biggest import from Bristopolis to the rest of Mobotopia are apples!
Straddleborough (Town) -
This town is close to Mobotopia, with many people living in Straddleborough working in Mobotopia or farming the plain ol' pastures. The town itself is a old farming town but is slowly developing itself into one of the bigger towns of Mobotopia. Straddleborough holds a huge market once a month to sell the produce it makes at a cheaper price before it is sent off to the rest of Mobotopia.
Crystal Coast and Lilac Cliffs -
The crystal coast is a beautiful landmark on Mobotopia, famous for its crystal clear, clean waters and glistening gem stone cliffs, merging into the Lilac Cliffs. Beach goers, surfers and tourists all flock to the coast, especially for the annual surfing festival. The further south you go towards the Lilac Cliffs, the coarser and rockier the sand beaches become and the quieter the beaches and rock pools. The Lilac Cliffs is a popular romantic getaway for Mobiaun couples seeking to see the beautiful sunsets and views from Lilac Cliffs.
Enigma Mountains (Mountain Range) -
The Enigma mountain range is a large mountainous area not well travelled. Only the casino city of Bucksburg brings in tourists but the rest of the mountains are still naturally beautiful though dangerous to hike. There is a large search and rescue team residing on the mountain range due to the frequency of stuck, injured or lost hikers around these parts.
Merrily (Town) -
Much like the town of Misery, Merrily lives up to its name. The town is bright and colourful, with all the houses, shops and other buildings all painted bright or pastel colours, nowhere in this town that you go will be dark, and much of the same goes for the residents who are in a constant state of joy.
Traipseton (Town) -
Traipseton is a fun-loving, energetic town at the foot of Enigma Mountains. The buildings here are built up high, as the residents here are much more comfortable up high in the treetops, or in high up places than they are on the ground levels.
Traipseton is home to many circus carnies who, once every 6 months, perform at one of Mobotopia's biggest events, the Traipseton Acrobatics Circus. During the off season, the town is quite and calm, with the residents enjoying the benefits of the last shows, and teaching the children of Traipseton.
Peculiar Peak (Peak of Enigma Mountains) -
At the peak of the Enigma Mountains is Peculiar Peak; named so due to its twisting pathways and dangerous walkways around the top of the mountain. Not much is known about Peculiar Peak due to the lack of brave adventurers hiking up the daunting mountain range.
Bucksburg (Casino City) -
High up in the enigma mountains, Bucksberg is not a place that is welcoming to outsiders. Run by the Waddleforth family of Rockhopper Penguins, it is a town that prides itself on appearances and is something of a gated community for the well-to-do families of Mobotopia.
Picturesque and beautiful with restaurants and sprawling parks adorning the city, it is a paradise of grandiose proportions. Sadly, it has achieved this status by closing its gates to the riff-raff and commoners who plague the rest of Mobotopia with their filth.
Hustleton (Town) -
Being close to the coast and situated between Misery and the carnival settlement of Traipestown, Hustleton is a nest of unsavoury types who have given it something of a villainous reputation. With pirates making it their go-to stop when docking on the coast and the assortment of freaks who follow the traveling carnivals to Traipestown stopping by regularly, it is a chaotic town where the law often fears to tread.
Run by several small-time crime families who are constantly warring over territory, it is not somewhere you would like to set foot after dark. Those who wander in blindly without someone to watch their back might just disappear, never to be heard from again.
East Dusty Dunes -
Unlike the bustling, well built up south, the east section of dusty dunes is very barron, with sand dunes that seem like they could go on forever and the risk of sandstorms is quite high. Those visiting the south are encouraged to keep to built paths and not to venture too far out due to the chance that they may get lost or mugged by outlaws.
Temple of Allegiance -
Once Teams have been initiated at the Blue Blush Mountain resort, they must go to the Temple of Allegiance to solidify the team. At the temple, each team member must overcome one last challenge and it is then that an Elder will give each of them a charm to prove their power and allegiance to one another as well as a chao to accompany them on their journeys. The Temple is large and impressive, with slabs decorating the walls, from top to bottom, each with the names of different Guardian Teams written in elaborate, golden script.
Illumination Swamp -
Illumination Swamp is exactly that; a dark and murky swamp, only illuminated by the many many glow bugs that take residence in the swamp as well as unnatural lights from spirits of the lost souls in Illumination swamp.
Spoopish (Town) -
The town of Spoopish lies at the foot of blue blush mountains, as well as deep in Illumination swamp. The town is quiet, with only a few inhabitants, who would rather keep to themselves than welcome outsiders. The town, like the rest of Illumination swamp, is lit with glowing green bugs as well as other-wordly glowing plant life.
Blue Blush Mountains -
The Blue blush mountain range spans almost the entirety of the east coast of Mobotopia. The name of the mountain range can definitely be understood once you have seen for yourself the beauty of the mountains. The rock that forms the mountain range is a deep blue colour, which many tourists will come to see. There is a small resort at the south of the mountain range which visitors will often come to experience bushcraft and survival living with the help of the resort staff. It is this resort that is used to train up new Guardians of Mobotopia Teams ( such as Team Toon.)
Daunting Desert -
The Daunting Desert is what covers the majority of South Mobotopia. "Daunting" isn't just a name to scare off travelers, getting anywhere in this desert is no easy task. Scorching Soft Sands that can burn the flesh off any creature in seconds, yet soft enough for the best of balance to lose their footing. Ice Cold Nights that demand you find warmth at ANY cost or freeze to death by morning. Neck Breaking Canyons that any Rock Climber would pass up without a second thought, but many hidden treasures for those daring and brave enough to adventure into them. Intimidating as it may be, this land holds many diamonds in the rough just waiting to be seen.
Ruins of Dread
Deep in the Canyon walls of the Daunting Desert lie the Ruins of Dread. Piles of skeletons cover the entrances of these ancient halls, of adventurers that could not survive the climb down. The walls look as if they could crumble at any moment, but stand strong after all these THOUSANDS of years. Many varieties of lifeforms roam these catacombs: Lizards, Rats, Giant Spiders, even species undiscovered. As you get deeper into the belly of these ruins, the more challenging and deadly traps begin to appear: Boulders, Spinning Blades, Death Pits, if it can kill you expect it to be hiding for it's chance to kill you. This adventure into these ruins is all for not, for there are tales of a legendary treasure like no other, that has yet to be obtained by anyone. Or at-least, by anyone who has lived long enough to bring it out of the ruins.
The Opal Oasis is a land thought to only been seen in your dreams. Giant Crystals and Gems, surrounding a deep, deep spring that is clear as can be. Many believe to have seen the Oasis, but can never find it again and can only be mocked at by being told, "it was only a mirage." If you are lucky enough to find this Oasis, you can walk away with a fortune that would make any king jealous. Stay too long however, and you may just find yourself becoming one with this mirage of dream jewels.
The Town of Fallow is an Old Western Style town that has very advanced Steam Technology that has helped in their Framing and way of life. Fallow is well known for their Potatoes and Carrots during the cold seasons as well as Pumpkins and Sweet Potatoes (Yams) during the warm seasons. The Town doesn't get many visitors, so they welcome travellers with the homiest motels and atmospheric bars that serve their iconic Steam Brews that are worth the trip alone. Open armed as they may be, a terrible group known as "Los Perros del Desierto" try to force their influence on the Town of Fallow along with anyone that dare travel the Daunting Desert. When pushed to far, however, the Town has an Outlaw that watches over them. One that is in and out of a problem before you can even feel the warm air from his presence. "El Fantasma de Vapor..."
South Dusty Dunes
The South Dusty Dunes is the safest place in the Daunting Desert. If you here anyone planning a trip to the desert, they most likely mean here. Once a land almost taken over by one of Eggman's higher-ups as a base of operation, Mobotopians have come in and taken years to change it into an attraction paradise! Anything from Safaris, Sand Boarding, or Night Theme Parks can be found in the Dusty Dunes. Many exports from Fallow come here to help feed the ever growing tourism of the Dunes. It's easy to say, Mobotopians have made the South Dusty Dunes one of the "Hottest" spots in Mobotopia.
Isle of Fire-
The small coast of the fire island is like its inhabitants; not pleasant! The land is harsh and the people here are known for the incredible smithing skills. They can make anything from any material they have been given, here not even outsiders can handle the heat and steams that bellow from there forges that are active all hours of the day. There dress code is strict but scarce, very bare. anything can happen here so one must adapt to even survive here.
Isle of Earth -
The inhabitants of the earth island were all blessed with incredible feats of strength for they all spend their time deep underground mining and sending there treasures and findings to the other islands due to there great skills at treasure hunting. It has also helped them to form a natural tunnel network on the island. Resources are both plentiful and vast, and many people often visit from far around to see the jewel's that often get discovered on the island.
Isle of Water -
Everything on the island of water is in a state of constant balance, the residents have all mastered the arts of meditation often following the ways of peace. The landscape is vast, beautiful and blue with many shallow pools of water that have been decorated with many balancing stones or bamboo water features. The fields are wide and always full of different fruits that visitors are more the welcome to eat; the inhabitants here are only ever out to help any and all passers-by, be that with food, meditation, life advice or accommodation.
Isle of Air -
Isle of Spirit -
Isle of Rage-
The Isle of Rage is named so due to the fact that is is completely surrounded by whirlpools, making travel to the island very dangerous, as if the ocean was raging. Not much is known about the island, other than the fact that there stands an impressive, active volcano on the Island's Mt Fury.
Unity Island: Unity Island Theme Park/Resort -
This island was recently bought by one of Mobotopia's most wealthy elites. They have built a high tech theme park resort here to bring in more money (because they need it!) but the locals are not happy with it, and often picket and protest outside the resort. Outside of the resort, tourists are encouraged to take verified tour guides as the locals are not fond of outsiders to their island.
Westdown Ar Y Môr (Town)
"The Town by the Sea" is the town that is Westdown Ar Y Môr. The residents here are all very opposed to the newly built Unity Island Theme Park, as Unity Island was once named such for the fact that all the residents would all support one another as they were all living in the same, rural lifestyle. With the newly built resort, tourists have come and ruined some old ways of life as well as over-populating the island.
