The late night/early morning madness strikes again. What is it about 3 am? Why do I get inspirational and motivational surges so strong they WAKE ME UP at 3 am in the morning? I love finally being inspired, but geeze! Can't it wait till a more reasonable hour?

Ah well.

So.... you've all had a taste of Duo Ninja: Legends. I got the first 2 chapters, a few character sketches, and a race description/codex posted here on DA. But your probally not to familar with the story that came before it. Well it's getting a make over too and that includes all it's characters! The first to get it is the smallest, my 'cat boy'.

And lay off on his name, I seriously sucked at names back in 1997 when I started this madness but they've all stuck, so there. He could use a last name though. That I'm open to sugestions on.

Otherwise any and all sugestions, ideas, opinions, questions, answers, flames, critiques, comments, and what nots are always welcome!

Name: Neko
Story: Duo Ninja: Lunatics
Occupation: Paranormal Investigator/Ninja
Species: Cat Demon and Human Hybrid
Sex: Male
Age: 16/17
Height: 5’
Weight: 136 lbs
Hair: Short, Sea or Aqua Green
Fur: When in cat form, his fur displays a Me-Ki (tricolor or calico) pattern with Sea or Aqua Green and Black instead of Browns and Reds.
Eyes: Golden Brown (but when his demon blood starts to boil the left turns a glowing blue) with slitted pupils like a cats.
Appearance: Short, thin, and wiry but with well proportioned limbs, some extra muscle to the legs, and an over all square rather then long or tubular appearance. Young looking but long faced with large very expressive eyes.
Demon Form: Japanese Bobtail Cat
Personality: Active, friendly, intelligent, and talkative. He is a quick study, cool and calm most of the time. He does get nervous around females however, but might just be an awkward phase he’s going through. He is eager to please and very gentlemanly otherwise. He can be impulsive, mischievous and cheeky and requires a lot of attention. He does have a jealous streak.
Clothing: Tank tops, T-shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes. He likes being comfortable with room to move. He has a prized jean jacket with a cat face/cat eyes embroidered on the back that he is rarely without.
Fighting Style/Weapon: He’s all about tricks, fast attacks, and wearing his opponent down. Not being very physically strong except when enraged, he relies on his speed and mastery of the pounce most of the time. A trickster, smoke bombs, flares, trip wires, trap doors, covered pits, man traps and the like are the tools of his trade. He also uses a knife and throwing needles. The needles are treated with a sleeping potion. He also knows enough about acupuncture to be able to cause some damage in battle but this is not his normal style. He prefers to blind or distract an opponent, then wear them down with a series of fast slicing attacks with his knife, bleeding them out till they are to weak to fight.
History: As a young kitten, Neko wasn’t aware he was part demon or human. He just thought he was an ordinary stray cat making a living off of mice and birds in the park. He eventually befriended a pair of young girl twins named Yume and Hikari. Both were being trained to be Paranormal Investigators. Yume sensed the cat wasn’t just a cat and using his talkative and eager to please nature, both girls taught him to actually speak Japanese and English. One day while playing, he convinced Hikari to climb a tree with him. A branch broke and she fell. He shifted into a human form for the first time and rescued her, breaking his own arm in the process. Hikari kissed him in thanks and he has become her constant companion ever sense, having fallen in love with her on the spot. Mai, a summoner of sorts and the girls’ guardian, accepted him as part of the family, forming a demon contract with him and raising him into a fine young man. Like the girls, he started to train to become a Paranormal Investigator, learning about and readily accepting his hybrid nature, and started attending school with them.
Special Feature: Neko remains in his human form at all times except for three days every month, during the full moon. He then returns to his cat form. When enraged and/or his demon blood stirs, his left eye glows a bright blue and he sometimes manifests claws on his hands, his personality becoming more beastial.
