I wish there was an emotive category under traditional.

Though done for class in 2005/06 this was the end result of a personal project and several epermentations. The idea was to produce something borderline abstract that featured only the hands... but was as emotive as possible.

Is the person afraid? Are they raising thier hands in defense? Is the person happy and danceing? Are they angry and about to grab some one? Are they mysterious and weaving some sort of spell?

I leave the answers up to you the veiwers and challenge you to share and discuss them.

I have seen this technique but never knew its name. You do a beautiful job with it. It certainly is full of emotion and energy. My first thought was there seems to be some sort of struggle almost like trying to grasp for something to hold onto as when you fall through ice. I like the mystery' then it is a different experience for everyone.

Thank you very much and thank you even more for shareing what you see in it.

Actualy "Grass" is just what I call the technique. I think my teacher use to call it one of the forms of "leaving archiology". I honestly don't know it's real name either. ^^; Sorry.

Your welcome! "Leaving archeology", that's an interesting term. Well "Grass" technique works for me so that is what I will call it.
