So. If you didn't pay attention to the sudden barrage of uploaded art, I finally remembered my login info over here, and decided to give my deviantart page some love for once.
Although that wasn't only one reason why I pretty much stopped uploading art over here. The other was that I wasn't really creating anything I thought was worth much to share.
Last year was a pretty bad year for a lot of creators, and that included me as well. It just took me a while to figure out what was going on with me, and I'm really glad that I did. Helpful hint y'all: if all the things that used to make you happy feel like it's barely making a dent in an overall sea of numbness, ya might be depressed af.
Thankfully I'm one of those lucky people that has access to therapy services and other things, so now that I've got my head back on straight, I'm having a lot of fun getting back into making things. Some of those things haven't been art related too as I've really dove into Dungeons and Dragons, and exploring TRPGs overall. There's so much out there that'd I'd love to learn and play with!
But anyways, on to the professional stuff:
My Patreon is pretty much shut down at this point. I no longer really want to support the website thanks to a few recent developments that I'm sure many of you have heard about by now. On top of that, using it was creating a really terrible relationship between myself and my ability to put out content. It was feeling more and more like I had to be creating not because I wanted to, but because I desperately needed the money. It was just the worst and also added to my overall discouragement over my art last year. So! It's gone now! Or at least retired. Maybe if Patreon decides to stop dancing around its problems with porn/R18 material, I'll give it another shot.
I'm also no longer taking commissions at this point in time. I know not many people with be affected by this, but I thought I should come out and say it anyway. If you REALLY want a commission from me, you're still free to ask, but I won't be actively seeking or advertising them until further notice.
I've set up a ko-fi page! For those of you who have no idea what a ko-fi is, it's essentially a better managed Paypal donation system. It's a bit like Patreon and Paypal had a baby since you can also set up a gallery and advertise goals on your ko-fi page, and follow your favorite artists over there! I'd highly encourage you all to take a look since I'm currently in the process of saving up for a new tablet since mine is quickly on its way out.
You can find my page over here!
